Keits, your video is incorrect. Alex can snapback off of any elbow rush by dping with C after. it doesn’t have to be the c rush.
I haven’t played the vs series much before, but what do you think of infinite combos?
Do you feel that it’s part of the game, since we have mega crash? Or does it ruin the game since they will gain 3-4x the amount of meter by doing the infinite than the victim does in order to build up meter to do mega crash.
I already feel dismayed by the infinite combos (karas and chun) b/c they don’t look that hard to do.
it’s just a little annoying because i think the principles behind mega crash work actually really well in this game with how meter builds much faster for the aggressor, but one is kinda rewarded with more red life (to fuel Baroque) if you mega crash.
If only they put a little less hitstun on Chun’s lightning legs as well as less on Karas’ sweep… I’m not really sure one could say it DESTROYS the balance of the game or whatever, but it is unfortunate to see.
So for everyone who’s played the game so far. Is this game fun so far? And is it worth playing this game? It looks pretty cool from some of the matches I’ve seen so far.
isn’t the tag counter also just f+P from block (as opposed to b,d/b,d+P from the video)?
also…has this been confirmed to work with GC and classic controllers?

I dont know of f+p works for that, but i DO know that 412p works, obviously, as i performed it in the video (and use t that way all the time). ill try f+p when i get home, but ive never heard of it being done that way.
Keits are you doing the wiki as well? I think its missing that you can hit START after you won to unlock yourself and do combos on your dead opponent. Same thing as in MVC2.
Maybe i’m not seeing it tho,or it’s not important enough to make the wiki.
The actual follow-up has to be done with C, not the initial elbow. it’s easier to combo off of C elbow though.

Ok, so it seems that the easiest way to get points for the shop is to play Golden Lightan’s mini game. It’s roughly 10 seconds or less long and it’s the easiest way to get 300 points. All you have to do is score higher than the other Lightan’s. Best way to do this is swing the wiimote from left to right from one side of your body to the next. You don’t even need to do it that fast but it does help sometimes. Yeah, it’s tiring but some of you lazy fucks can actually get a work out doing this now hehe. Anyway, I scored 4500 points in 4 min. Best I’ve seen so far. Oh also, there are 5 pieces to him to make completely golden. The max you can get on any mini stage is 300 so don’t even bother getting the 20000 points unless you want a perfect which is hard as fuck.
Also, that one genie guy, you can score an easy 300 points on his level as well. Yeah it’s a timed stage and you get all nervous trying to figure out the answers fast enough. There’s a trick though, JUST FUCKIN’ PAUSE THE GAME!!! Yeah, just press the + button and you can easily answer the questions. If you answer 20 questions you will get the 300 points.
On Chun Li’s mini game there you have to mash as fast as you can to make her kicks break the stones. I forget how many stones you have to hit but the last stone is actually a red color. Defeat this stone to get 300 points. Of course each stone takes longer to break.
With Batsu, Get the Input Counter to read out all 6 commands and perform a 6 command input (I believe) to get 300 points.
Oh also, if you score like 1p-xxxp in any minigame you will get 10 points; no less no more. The only way to get 50, 100, 200, or 300 is to accomplish a certain task in that minigame. I’ll post more later.

Ditto… Haha I’ve played it with friends almost everyday. It’s too fun… By the way, I forgot… How do you unlock the 3rd costumes again? I didn’t want to bother at 1st, but they seem kind of cool.
Only Capcom characters have 3rd costumes, to unlock them you need to play the characters minigame, then it will be in the shop afterwards.

what do u guys do against a karas player? my friend uses him and i cna’t seem to get out of his barrages of attacks. i’m pretty much turtled in a corner. i pushblock but i get hit afterwards cause his attacks are too far reaching.
and he does the reverse special after i block his entire chain of attacks. if i counter attack or even move, he’ll do his super. Karas is really pissing me off.
And the freaking chip damage on that qcf C, qcf BC is ridiculous. and he’ll dhc out to ryu’s hadoken before the final hit.
Fuck, I pulled my arm playing the GL mini game. Got a little to rough swinging the controller to get them high points. So now I gotta take it easy and play the genie and mm minigames.
