I don’t think so, I mean have we really seen her perform keepaway ala cable? Or high damaging easy to use supers?
It’s been brought up. And she looks to play like cable about as much as Ryu does.
Anyway, Roll actually looks…serious. Like, not a joke character this time. Soki looks to move exactly how he does in DoD. Awesome.
I want to see more of Joe though. I can see him having Red Hot Kick and maybe a possible Slow super.
Well, to me I think Roll still retained a few joke-ish features, like some of her moves seemed really low on range. Over all though, she didn’t seem as slow and bad as in MvC/MvC2, but I really hope she turns out okay this time around as I wouldn’t mind giving her a spin.
Seriously, the roster for this game is just way too fun looking that it gives me a hard choice deciding on what characters to play, it’s like I want to play them all!
I wish I shared that enthusiasm as much as you did. While it’s alot better than the MvC rosters, it’s still lacking some characters that would seem like obvious choices. Speed, Dante, Zero and a Resident Evil character. And a Macross character as well.
It has mostly everyone that matters from the Tatsu universe other than those exceptions. The capcom side is more “wtf”. I’m happy that they finally decided against putting 20 billion SF characters in unlike the other games
Tatsu doesn’t own any Macross property.
So. . .is the character roster actually finalized by this point? Because everyone that’s been revealed is already shown on the cover, so it seems like it’s set in stone by now.
I honestly hope that TvC gets a big following here in the US. It looks like a pretty amazing game, as flashy as GGXX. . .except, as flashy and amazing as GGXX was, not many people played it.

They can if they want it… but still, maybe the worst thing about this Wii-exclusive release if that Tatsucap would be for PS3/360 we at least have a playable Demo now.
Capcom is just really odd. It seems they just want to release games for all 3 consoles. But, what they should of done in my opinion is instead of releasing SF4 PS3/360 only, and TvC wii only… they might as well just released both games for all 3 systems, same with STHD, etc. It would seem the most logical course of action IMO.
Err no… This game was build using an arcade system that is essentially a Wii-hardware.
Roll looks… really fun! She also looks to have one of the more usefull assists. I’m thinking of picking her and morrigan or maybe that weird girl with the D on her head.
I know that, but still it would had been a smart idea. They could of instead made the game on a different hardware and just released it for all systems instead. imo
Just so you know, my post is in jest in reply to that one guy’s cable comment. Why did ya think I said Sasquatch is the new iceman. Only simularities she shares with Cable is a big laser gun, and J.FK (drop kick).
As for other characters, we probably won’t see any more default, the rest may be hidden. That character select ring is f’n massive esp with two rows.
