Excuse me for not being much of an arcade junkie, but how do secret characters work on arcade machines? :confused: Do they need to be unlocked by some player, or will they just be there automatically?

The characters (well, Roll and Jun anyway) will be unlocked via time. Once the arcade clock reaches Dec. 11 (or similar), they will become playable.

Arcade chars are unlocked pretty much however the game designers want them to be.

Some examples -
MVC2 - Characters were time unlocked
SF 4 - Akuma is unlocked by inputting codes into the machine.

So yeah, no real way to know for sure how secret characters will work until it is announced / figured out.

Yami didn’t even cross my mind as a final boss. I swear they shoulda went with Sardius or Mundus. But Yami works and go play Okami so you can get familar. So it looks like Tahsuu gets the final boss in the sequel. See sequence below.
