Tatsunoko vs Capcom Thread V.2 - Dec 11th on Wii

Are they doing pre-orders anywhere? I’m going to be doing the Twilight hack later today. Bout to go shoot some ducks.

Play-Asia has the game and an arcade stick with TvC theme.

They only take credit cards ?

Wait, so is it a definite that there’s no online mode, or is there still hope?

I was under the impression that the Wii was not getting SF4.

US$ 79.90 (~50.60 GBP)

What?! That conversion is so fucked up, no way am I paying an extra 10 just because I live the the UK… Just checked UCC, so much for $1.9 to the pound.

Anyone know what’s actually inside the sticks?

This should be compared more to Fate: Unlimited Codes than to SF4.

Goodness! That Is Pricey. I’m still going for it though. I just have to go sell some body parts 1st so that I can afford it all.

Well, we’ll just have to come by your crib to play then. lol

I’m really hoping for a PS2 port…

Possible?

I’m hoping for a PS3 port. :looney:

You should try and get the game from Raven games. I sent them an email.

Having just completed the Homebrew Channel installation with GeckoOS…I don’t know how anyone can claim that it’s hard to do.

What parts are in the TvC stick?

It’s ridiculously easy to do; I only found out about it after I bought a freeloader, and I wish I had my $35 back. It’s also alot less hassle to use.

100% agree. I was going to get a mod chip installed on my Wii, but then I researched the Twilight Hack a little bit and it really is incredibly easy.

I better send them an E-Mail to further interest them in this title! Thanks!

There are still developing new games for the PS2 in Japan, but the real money would be on a PSP port.

Hmm… but we’re comparing PS2 and Wii power.

Power differences not withstanding, there’s no real reason for them to port the game.

It’s looking to be Japanese exclusive (meaning already a significantly lower audience to sell to already), and it was designed pretty specifically on Wii Hardware, by 8ing. Porting the game to other systems (even the PS2/PSP) would basically entail more money to be spent, and no real guarantee of much in the way of return.

In short, this game has no real reason to be ported. No more than some thing like Fate: Unlimited Codes does (which occupies the same boat as TvC, but just gets more in attention because of it being a Vs. game).
