If you’re used to using a pad, it should be fine. Since I started TvC on the Wii Fighting Stick, when I tried playing it on the classic controller, it was a disaster for me.
Do note that I used to play SFII, MvC2, etc. on pad exclusively, and I can play SFIV and SFIII on both pad and stick.
Then he should be looking into getting a second(ps2 preferably, since that covers pretty much everything) stick anyway, since in my understanding that won’t be adapter-ed well into anything ever except PC
That seems to be the only converter, and it’s crazy expensive too.
Yeah there’s already 4 vids of commentary up on my channel, 3 of Japanese matches, and one of Marn and Jwong from devestation. They’re all in the playlist “commentary matches” which should show up on the main channel page.
Thanks a lot. I’m hoping having more content that’s easier to find will help people who are new get into this game.
First its “i dont want to buy a joystick for the wii!”, and then its “I dont even have a wii!”. This is how it has ALWAYS worked, for the last 20 years. You want a game on a system you dont have? You must buy the system. Exclusives drive the hardware market. Deal with it.
Seriously, I’ve been watching Devastation now(missed the live), and I’ve gotta say… Tatsunoko has been the most interesting to watch so far, even with all the Karas.
I like the Classic Controller’s layout better than the Gamecube (especially hated the midget-sized D-Pad on the GC controller) I only hate the lack of a ‘grip’ on the CC. Although CC’s later this year will rectify that minor qualm!
I play with the classic controller. It’s absolutely fine. I can see how a pad is still better, but since you can map button shortcuts to the shoulder buttons, doing things like pushblock and supers is not difficult at all.
The only thing I have trouble doing on the pad is Polymar’s drill super D:
Aside from WiiSports, the port of Broken Sword(which is on the DS anyway), and PunchOut!, not really. I had the system and about 15 games for a good year before pawning it. I just wasn’t into it. Also, the lack of decent online play kind of killed it for me in the long run.
I understand it, bro. Doesn’t mean I like it. I kind of don’t like being aced out of a game I was really looking forward to playing.
It would be more legitimate to say, “I wish this game was also coming out on my preferred system” and do so without insulting the other console. Indeed the Wii has a weaker software lineup than the other consoles, but how will it ever get a good library if people bitch and moan when good games actually come out for it?
(I wish T VS. C was coming to 360 and PS3 also, but since it isn’t, I’ll get it for the Wii.)
Yeah it’s trolling because he referred to the system as “a waste of $250.” It’s fine to say “damn I wish it was coming to 360” or w/e, but not to be like “it’d be good if it wasn’t only on a horrible piece of shit system.”
See the distinction there?
Also either way it’s kind of a silly comment to make. I wish tekken 6 was coming to a system I owned, but it’s not. You don’t see me rolling into the tekken thread bitching about it.
well all i can hope for is that its netcode is on point and ill be happy already have a wii thanks to SSBB tournament and all that but its collecting dust and im willing to dust it off for this been watching it grow and when i was watching the matches from devastation last weekend thanks to the stream i will definately pick this up when it comes out hopefully by then i have my mc cutchlu board in (sorry if i butchered that)
