too many “small” characters on the capcom side including volnutt, roll and Joe. Hopefully they pick someone who is actually a bad ass. Regina from DC might be fun too with a huge ass Trex for a super.
My guess is that Yatterman-2 will be one of the choices as they went out thier way to make sure the 1 was written for Yatterman-1 on the screenshots.
Is it possible that we could seeing at least one more Darkstalker character? After all, they didn’t restrict SF to just one franchise (there is a representative from 1, 2, and 3).
Currently, there is Morrigan from Darkstalkers (Vampire). Who are the new characters in Darkstalkers 2 (Vampire Hunter), and who is new to the series in Darkstalkers 3 (Vampire Savior)?

Tatsu side, I’m still holding out hope to see JJ from Zillion. The Sega games were awesome, and since apparently the Zillion license lapsed outside of Japan, there shouldn’t be any real problems.
If Speed Racer makes it in, hopefully he’ll have a Mach 5 Super, similar to the Jin Saotome one from MvC/MvC2 in which he uses Blodia to punch the opponent, but in the case of Speed Racer, he simply just runs down the opponent with the Mach 5.

They are co-credited in the production, but Gainax owns all the rights to EVA. Not a chance.
I’m not super-familiar with the series but that could be just because it wouldn’t really be correct to refer to him as just “Yatterman”. A lot of other characters have their “titles” as well, but I’m not so sure that Ken is likely just because we have “Ken the Eagle”.
I’m not really disputing that we could get Yatterman-2, though. I’m just saying that I don’t think that’s a strong argument supporting her.
For the record, this game is totally better balanced than Marvel. A ton of different characters are all qualifying for SBO, all the way down to low tier and the giants. So please, everybody stop saying the balance is terrible.
Yeah, what Yourmother said. Karas dominating the game is exagerration. If you watch some japanese matches you’ll actually see that the biggest threat is runaway Ken.

How come people want SF Ken? We already have Ryu. I just don’t see the point in having shotoclones outside of Street Fighter. That’d be a precious slot for an original moveset being wasted by one who’s been done over 9000 times in other games.
The nice thing about this game so far is that all the characters have drastically different playstyles.
Even Morrigan plays differently from Ryu to an extent.
I never really understood the whole ken thing. I mean it’s cool if you like him a little more than ryu, but does it really matter to you that much that he’s blonde? Can’t you just settle?
Strider would be cool tho.
