However, because this first game has already accomplished the most difficult parts of making a game (establishing the basic engine, as well as the the 22 original characters), making a sequel, which basically does more to just add more characters and make a few changes/revisions, is definitely much easier, as opposed to starting from the ground-up. In other words, now that they have the basis from which to work on, future games should definitely be bigger and better, since they will have more time to just work on adding more characters and other nice things.
So, it’s highly likely that if a sequel is indeed in the cards, we could stand to see such a game finished by any where between fall/winter of this year. 8ing is certainly capable of doing such a thing, considering how they had to bang out 4 Naruto GNT game, in as many years on the GC.
I am suddenly interested in a Super Sentai vs. Capcom game. =/

Charlie hasn’t had much exposure outside of an appearence in XvSF and MvC2. I’d rather see him then Guile, in any case.
I’ll probably never play TvC1 since I have a US Wii i’ll never hack. I have nothing against the system, but damn capcom for choosing the most import-unfriendly platform. So i’m hoping the sequel will be PS3/360, but I doubt it.
I also really hope we see a new MvC in this vein.
I’m actually hoping them to venture live-action tokusatsu as the next series. Super Sentai vs. Capcom would be epic!
Actually the Wii is AMAZINGLY easy to play imports on, with no physical tampering at all. Seriously, youtube GeckOS and rejoice.
