Tatsunoko Characters History and Background

So I’ve always been a fan of the vs. series and I LOVE Tatsunoko vs Capcom. I don’t know any of the characters from the Tatsunoko side but like many here in the US it hasn’t stoped me from getting completely engrossed in this ridiculously awesome and fun game. But I have to say, after playing some of the Tatsunoko characters, I’m intrigued and am starting to wish I knew more about them because they’re all pretty rad.

I’m thinking that it’s likely that some of us here in the SRK comunity might know a thing or two about some or all of the characters and I’m hoping that by starting this post we might be able to get a nice place to come and read up about our favorite characters from TvC that we want to know more about. So if you happen to be a total Yatterman junkie for example please use this thread as a way to spread your knowledge of those characters so that people like me can learn more about them. Likewise If you’re knowledgeable about any of the other characters please post a reply discussing one or two of them. THANKS!!!

I’m pretty sure they’re all from their own respective anime. If you look on wikipedia it will tell you everything.

Or just watch the shows. I’m not sure if handing out torrents here is allowed, but there’s subs for most of the series.

Thanks Mr.Q for the links. And to the others that responded who replied: thank you for your smart ass responses. I’m not retarded, I realize I can google them or search the characters on wikipedia. I wouldn’t have posted this if I hadn’t tried that already. I’ve done my share of searching. I wasn’t asking anyone to do my research for me, I was hoping there would be some Tatsunoko freaks out there that could share what they already know about the characters, when they came about, their history etc. I just figured there is a lot of traffic in these forums of other people like me and thought that this would be a convenient place for everyone to compile some shared Tatsunoko history.
