i wanna get out there, but i probably won’t play. i seriously have no play outside of online, and maybe a tourney wouldn’t be the best way to test it out. 
Spectators are always welcome. And you should probably enter anyway - playing in a tournament always, always feels different for me than casuals. 80% of the time I’m playing in a tournament, it’s against guys I play all the time - yet, it’s just… different. I recommend entering, just to dip your toe in the proverbial tournament waters haha. Though, if you don’t want to enter, that’s fine too. I usually run casuals after everything is setup until the specified start time, so consider that as well.

No TVC at the tournament, but SEGA (Sac State’s Gaming Club) plays TVC. Ask me about it at the tournament.

Is it possible to be placed in a first round match like the last one before round 2 starts? I get off work at 6:30 but I’d love to enter.
At 6:30, we’ll probably already be pretty far into the tournament. I don’t think I’ll be able to fit you in the bracket without causing issues. PM your phone number, though - in the highly unlikely event that we won’t be finished with round 1 by then, I will call you and let you know.

If you intend on joining the SFIV tournament circuit and you don’t have a stick, you probably might want to get a 360 stick, then dualmod it for PS3. There’ll be sticks available to use at the tournament, though, so don’t worry too much about that.

There will be sticks available for use. Fightpad… you’ll have to hope that someone there has one, but I wouldn’t count on it. I can bring my PS3 controller, though - he can use that.

already told him but hes solid with the pad and dont feel like cashin out for 1 lmao…just bring the ps3 controller just in case cause those controllers are solid for fighting games anyways…cvs2 on a ps2 controller was dope lmao

Come to the next City or Fish and Chips tournament. Usually the only people there are the workers and the players.
Hey when do you guys think you’ll be actually showing up? Cuz i got The City tourney at 1:30 and that was def a mistake (sat there for an hour)
