djdelly I have that same Hori Hrap EX stick back when it was clearance for $60. It was a fine 360 (only) stick, however it’s NOT a common ground stick, which means it can not be dual modded using Cthulhu/ChImp.
You may gut the Hori circuit board and use the Korean PS360 pcb Bob previous has experienced with, or the akihabarashop PS360 pcb. However both pcbs are common ground, which means you have to purchase another Sanwa JLF. Because the JLF inside HRAP EX is NOT common ground and the microswitches are individually soldered. Also it’s Hori buttons, so add $15~$20 for sanwa buttons.
Basically long story short, HRAP EX is not a stick for dual mod. If you’re dual modding HRAP EX, you’re paying $85 for the HRAP housing only. Nothing could be reused.
Also HRAP EX has a slightly stiffer spring then the regular Sanwa JLF in TE. I guess some of u might like it. Personally I swapped it back to JLF default. If some of u want a stiffer spring, I got extra.
If you’ve purchased the stick toying with the idea of ps3. I suggest you cancel the order now before it’s shipped out. Regular PS3 HRAP 3 (amazon for $99, hori button) is common ground and more suitable for dualmod.
