Really really big man said according to bis nipples of the future, final round will be amazing.
Sweet, that sh1t was too GATLYKE. Really upset a few of us have to miss it this year.
“Winning” - By Charlie Sheen?Video
Charlie Sheen has been my personal hero for over a decade, and he just keeps getting more and more badass.
Prince was right about this game causing friends to fight. I’m betting $100 dollars a fist fight breaks out just from Marvel 3 at FR.
I give in… getting the PDP Marvel pad in a lil bit.
lol… yea too bad the only time you will play with kratos is alone in training mode.
I guess its still awesome though. th ps3 was a way better choice being that everyone in tampa/orlando/miami has one.
or was that 360?
@nacuflip: yea i need to play more games from the past. todays games just suck too much and ride on hype alone. so ddr one weekend, soon!
@dfox: we need another night of that.
Seriously, besides Luke and myself, and butterfly kicks, does anyone do and still practice martial arts? I would love to get together over a weekend and train/practice/spar. Let me know.
I’d totally be down but I am in the middle of rehab for an injury.
No martial arts but I started hitting the boxing gym 3 time a week along side my normal gym shenanigans id love to come by and get kicked in the head by you guys.
damn… this PDP pad blows.
oh well, back to jerkin my stick.
ewwww zero has a glitch.
Yep. Each day the game is proving to be more and more flawed
Good luck to the Tampa fam attending Final Round!
Word GL/safe trip to all and represent Tampa/central FL especially anyone who has trained at my dojo of champions.
Please be safe, daigo-chuuuuuuuuuunnnn~
I guess no new one piece next week.
Ok, in an hour they’ll be streaming ST at Final Round! My panties are fucking moist!!!
Probably no new Naruto manga or anime either. I am a sad panda.
Prince, what’s the likelihood that you still host games tomorrow?
For those without facebook, wanted to let yall know, I$AAC got Top 8 in Super Turbo!
Finals will be held on Sunday. Congrats buddy!
Also, Orlando’s Jebailey and CJ Truth have been performing really well in Super IV.
Nate Fearless aka Ricky Freelliams- back in St. Louis, after a long 1v1 session with a better sparring partner, the better player would give a writeup on what the player could do to be better. I’m far from great at the game, but I think it’s safe to say that I’m stronger at Super at this point than you are. So here’s some pointers I’d like to offer to you.
1st- Stick vs. Pad- I used to think the only way to be good at this game was to play on stick. But, the truth is, there are strong players on both. So, whether or not you play on stick or pad means very little. Stick to whichever is most comfortable to you and go from there.
Ken = Shoto = DP- This means that players should seriously fear jumping in on you. Whether it’s on wakeup or in general. If you wanna get better, you should make an effort to establish simple SFII skills. Also, don’t be afraid to reversal DP. You can’t do this often, unless you FADC it to make it safe, but reversal DPing a block string will let the opponent know that you’re not afraid to do so. Again, pick your opportunities, and they should be rare, because you’ll get baited and blasted!
Also, keep in mind that there are some players that have moves that avoid DPs. Makoto’s axe kick, Cammy’s CS, Akuma’s demon flip divekick. Even then, they have to make sure they’re doing it correctly to avoid it, although some moves easily avoid it than others.
The Fireball Game- you need to know when you use fireballs, based on what shoto you’re using. Of all the shotos, I believe Ken has the slowest fireball. So you need to know when the opponent is close enough to punish your fireball if he jumps at you, or if he uses a special to get past the fireball. When they’re outside the punish range, you should use your fireball as much as possible to control the space in front of you. Try not to be predictable, though.
As far as your footsies go, I don’t think they’re that bad. You know the spacing if your toward mk and cr. mk pretty well. But you don’t manage meter well at all, and do random stupid stuff, like full screen air ex hurricane kick. You try to be gimmicky even after you see no one’s falling for your gimmicks. Make an effort to be more solid and less desperate. Playing matches with other people and knowing the character they’re using will let you know what they’re trying to do. Your damage will come from trying to zone and punishing when the time comes. Being gimmicky is like playing a bad hand in poker. It’s very possible to win, but the more you try to, the more you’ll get your face busted trying.
The last thing I wanna leave you with, is this; there’s a hit confirm combo you do with Ken
cr short, cr jab, cr mk xx hadoken
All of those links work, but the hadoken will only hit certain characters in certain spacing. I was only punishing you mildly, trying to get you to understand that it was unsafe. Even if all the other hits hit, the hadoken still may miss from being pushed back too far with the cr mk. You should do this one instead
cr short, cr jab, cr strong xx hadoken
As long as the cr strong hits, the hadoken will as well
Dude I hope this was helpful for you.
Truth for top 8!
