I dont think you should Gmike. Should only take about 30minutes to get down in pmode. If you still cant get it down im sure than anyone here would be more than happy to help you with the timing. I used to be the same way when i was learning t5 Paul 2-3 years ago. It was hard to do ff2,1s and the JF falling leaf ender. Stick with it youll get it down.
What helped me with Paul’s DemoMan was the song “We will rock you” and the drum beat after the chorus.
honestly gmike paul doesnt need his jf’s like he used to. the only thing you really need is demolition man and unless you want the blue sparks the timing isnt strict at all.
Bob is a lot of fun. I started off only using him to learn to fight him, now he is on the team. I think its because he is one of the few people in the game that can keep effective pressure.
oh and andy when you posted it we tought it looked cool we just didnt have any way of playing it at the time.

Mike I’m picking up Paul as well and like everyone else said you really don’t need any of his jf except demo man. Leo is fun to play, but be ready to be murdered by Koreans, Chreddy, and anyone else with a fucked up SS game.
Andy I don’t know how you can support Battle Fantasia and not support Fate:UC. I felt like I was watching a flashy beta tested fighter for PS1. I can tell you that after watching that video I will definitely not be playing that game, that was the most boring 2-3 minutes I’ve ever seen. Blitzkampf would be better to pick up than BF imo.
My Lee is pretty decent IMO i just need match up experience as I really don’t have anyone to play but andy(at work haha) also picking up steve and I wanted to get baek in there as well

I dont know if ill be on BF either. Im about to shell out cash for this wii im getting for the low low and i wouldnt be playing it once TvC comes out anyway. Not saying i wont ever get on it, but its just game after game coming out these first couple months(Lost Planet 2, SO4(Ps3), FFXIII, Last Guardian, SSFIV, etc) that will be taking my loot(not to mention my car repair bill :\ ).

Adonis you’re hopeless. You just don’t/can’t like any game that allows you to block and I don’t understand it. It’s cool though, I only game with James 90% of the time and he’s loving it so that’s good enough. Got plenty to keep me busy until I get to murder you kids in SSF4. Except Jay. Can’t beat that guy in anything for some reason.

Ron-I have no idea what you mean by that blocking statement. ALL the games we play I manage to block just fine. Now if YOU have a hard time blocking in the games I like to play, that’s a different story 
I could break down all the strats in that vid you posted after watching it for 2, maybe 3 times, and I’d prefer a game with a little more depth if I’m going to put serious time into it. Maybe that was just a bad vid you posted and there are better ones out there that accurately depict the game.
In case alot of you haven’t noticed, I like games where people have to think. Not ones where you just mindlessly rushdown, hold db and block forever w/ no penalty, or ones where the mixup you find on day one with all characters apply for the rest of the life of the game. That why I like games with big combos (because they’re fun to do and watch), fuzzy guard setups (because you get an extra mixup element), and an in depth defensive system (instant blocking, parrying, etc). Other things like frame traps and tech traps add to all the fun. There are very few games that have all these features that don’t appeal to me.
The only game people played here that I never honestly gave any chance to was TvC. I gave 3s, CvS2, KoF11&12, MBAA, MvC2 and Alpha 3 all a decent shot, although I’m sure Jay will disagree with that sentiment on some of those games. Tekken, BB, GG, MBAC, Fate:UC, SF4 and Arcana Heart all got hardcore playtime from me.
So in summary, think I’m “hopeless” all ya want, but chances are I’ve given more games a shot than anyone else here except for maybe Matt and Jay.
Depends on the money 
I’m available on all day Sundays and Mondays, after 6 pm Tues- Fri (If I’m not exhausted from work, which a whole lot of the time I am unfortunately) and Saturdays after 1 pm. Yeah, and I just have a TE stick for 360. I’ll see whats a more viable option, getting a dual mod or if i ought to just pick up another stick. My names Steve, naturally. Right now I’m kind of have just one focus being SF IV, but certainly don’t mind expanding on that. Just be sure to hit me up and let me know when and where something is happening via the forum or a pm. What side of town you guys meet up on?

lol. Ive tried and played hardcore games you havent even heard of. Probably over 35-40 different fighting games Some good, some bad, some complete ass, but theres ALWAYS something good you can learn from everyone one of them. even its the simplest of things.
P.S. went into some nostalgic pmode in A.Blitzkampf and the game has all the deliciousness a lazy black man needs.
Dual mod and buying a new stick cost generally the same. Depending on if you already have the necessary materials handy. Modding will cost less(if you do it yourself) but be more timing consuming. Buying a new stick is more expensive but no hassle, and honestly with a new TE stick being 129.99 id just cop a new stick and be done with it. Then get your moms to make a stick bag lol.
And the money its whatever you can afford. or we could just do casuals its whatever.

Give me your opinion on my situation here: I’ve got the 360 TE Stick and i’m leaning towards a dual mod because I put a bat top on this stick and I swapped out the white buttons for some black ones (was going to put a graphic on it is why i did this) and so they are nice and broke in. But, I’m not 100% on what all i need to dual mod, cthulu and imp board and a toggle switch maybe?
If I bought a PS3 TE Stick I’d have to get the bat top for it (I hate that damn ball) but I could give a shit less about changing anything else on it. So just how much work is a dual mod? Also, if anyone wants (or wants to try out) and octagon gate for the jlf series sticks (the TE ones) I’ve got one laying around I tried but went back to the square and I’ve also got some spare white buttons laying around if someone has some buggy ones.

played a ton of casuals then did a ft5 Akuma vs Gief in the end. Very good high level matches i pulled it out 5-3/5-2 i cant remember. The first 3 matches i had 100% execution i didnt drop a single combo (even the 1-frames) and that shit had me smiling on the inside whew was getting a little hot in here. :lol: Evan, we’ll miss you bro. Good luck with ron on that Magic the Gathering game.
