I feel what you saying ron but when CS came out people had to learn the entire game first, not just the characters. With CT everyone already has a starting point or an understanding of the game functionality. A lot of top arakune players have messed around with him extensively and the feedback is not good. The thing about arakunes design is that there basically reworking everything about him. Im waiting to hear something I like, but that it just waiting. So far I havent heard anything about anyone I play or the game in general to be excited about.
With anything new you have to be excited about something. Like with sf4 im eager to play dee jay or a guile that can combo into ultra would be hot. You all know you want some sonic hurricane.

I feel you Jay, and I’m not saying he’s going to be near as good as he was in CT, but even with people having familiarity with the character his dynamic has changed a good bit and it’ll take time to adjust. Using Noel as an example again, if you check out her forum HeartNana (probably the most successful US gamer in Japan, has won numerous BB tourneys over there) was WAY down on her after day one. After having the weekend to play he wasn’t praising her as top tier, but he did realize that she had a lot more options than it seemed and her damage wasn’t near as low as he thought. And that’s just one weekend.
