Its normally 2 now. in 08-10 it was more than that, but as previously stated Sc2 changed that and it came out in mid 2010. Even still i went to MLG for sc2 instead of a fighting game tournament the later part of that year.
If my memory serves correctly, discounting locals: 2010 - FR/SER, 2011 - FR/CEO/MLG, 2012 - FR. Prior to that I don’t believe you went to ANY tournaments out of town. My point is you can’t really judge dedication based on tournament attendance (I’m not trying to question your dedication or even tournament prowess in any way). Take James for example. He also only makes 1-2 tournaments a year, but he’s absolutely more dedicated to fighting games in general than anybody else here - even crappy ones like Virtua Fighter. Same can be said for many others.

Ive been to FRXII2009/SEB2009. FRXIII2010/SER2010. FRXIV/CEO/MLG2011 and FRXV2012 and unfortunately missed CEO this year. I dont think you remember all the badges that used to be in the kitchen at my old place(I still have all of them for nostalgia purposes). Even still ive been to a ton of local tournaments in the past including ones youve hosted/old gamescape/adonis/andys/gmikes/i hosted several and still have a few on my challonge.
im not in the mood to argue. Thats just how i determine who will keep playing and who wont just be hyped for a month or so, but with that being said if jarv sticks with it more power to him. That would be awesome and i would be happy to be proven wrong and i mean that sincerely.

60-70% of the time all the other games james wants to play hell come play with me. All the obscure ones no one will play any more or games you will say thats terrible that hell still want to play. Even still ive dedicated more time to those games + other games even james wouldnt touch with a 10 foot pole including Big bang beat, ougon, Akatsuki Blitzkampf, and about 3 others i cant even remember the damn names to.
Yo does anyone have any spare sanwa buttons. these buttons (which Ive never had anything remotely close to this happening before) are literally disintegrating off this stick i purchased from chris. I just need 2 to hold me down until i get a full order of them placed. Preferably in good condition, and i cant have seimitsu because mixing them with sanwa would just be horrific.

I notice youve been trying to hit him up alot lately… You may want to contact him directly because he has a new job where he works alot of hours. Even still i notice that it usually takes him sometime to get back to folks about sticks nowadays. Ill try to contact him over the phone and if he doenst respond than ill hit him up at work(he works near me and says he doesnt mind coming to visit sometimes.) and see if i cant get him to contact you soon.

Whoops. Sorry, still alive. Aside from my random spurts of internet free life, my girlfriend’s grandmother passed, so that’s been causing a whole slew of problems.

I did that… last Wednesday, I think, so it should be here hopefully by Tuesday at the latest.
