I dont think anyone will be playing those games in tourney anymore. Side tourneys and MMs sure, but not anything official.

Man P4U is gonna be a PS3 game through and through. Animes and weeaboos love some PS3. Same with GG.
EDIT: Whoops, I meant more for tournament play than anything. Ron was telling me how since animes love some PS3 though they’ll probably pick it up for that console and the level of comp could be better because of it.
well possibly, but i doubt the comp on xbl will ever be bad. a ton of socal, NYC, texas players will still be on XBL. The random ranking comp on ps3 may get better but if you hit up dustloop and added folks (which is what i did when i owned my ps3) then it doesnt matter. I dont think i really care about random comp on ranking when you can just hit up srk/dustloop forum and add folks that plan on playing the game really seriously.
I do agree though the tournaments that do have P4U will have it on ps3, and that doesnt matter since its 2012 and everyone should have dual modded/2sticks. except JAMES who still rocks a ps2 controller because hes stuck in the 90’s.

I was including people in the list that i thought were gonna play the game seriously. i didnt know you were gonna play it seriously. I asked him if possible it would be nice if he played those. Reread. If you play the bear that would be suuuper sweet. Kanji is also a plus.

eye of agamotto and doom missles basically sit in his hit box and let you get punishment on random beam assist/teleport shenanigans at the start of the match especially, but missles and sentinel are always good for zoning.
JACK SOOOOOON. Cant wait to see some jack teams. haha. Im sure theyll do alot of damage. I also notice True ogre + basically anyone can walltowall carry on basically every map in the game. at least thats what its been looking like on the vids.

Maybe I’m just reading too much into it but I’m kind of offended that you didn’t think I wasn’t going to take the game seriously. I mean, we’ve been talking about it for months! Us airdashers have to stick together man. They turned that Florida BB group into a general FL Arc Systems Works group if you want to join up, people will be talking shop there and getting games together, plus there’s a player list.
Sorry about that just dont remember you attending any tournaments in the past, thats how i usually distinguish who takes stuff at least semi seriously. I havent attended the local Tallahassee tournaments(mainly due to sc2 coming out, working on saturdays etc) so you may be a regular or something now. shrug if it offended then my b. I play just about everything tbh. So whatever comes out and can hold my interested ill keep playing. (and thats also not glitchy and broken shoutouts to SG and xT, shout outs to team Ryu/Rolento+random)
I honestly think P4U will be a game i add to the list of 3 games i play. I hope its really good, fun and way more playable than BB.
At the moment P4U/Umvc3/SFIVAE.
Then when TTT2 comes out it maybe just TTT2/P4U. Those games will take ALOT of work initially. (Ill still play marvel/AE) anytime though

Im so pissed KOF came at this shitty time where we really couldnt enjoy it all that long before other stuff came out, and other good games are coming out. Like honestly after a few years when games get stale(and they dont release another KOF) ill probably go back and start playing KOF again it definitely deserves to be played.
As much as I tried to hype up KoFXIII I will be the first to admit that it’s pretty…linear. ESPECIALLY for a game in the KoF series. It was interesting, but ultimately very shallow.
i agree somewhat, but some games just feel good when you play them in tournament. AE is one of them and i also enjoy thoroughly playing KOF in tournament. Although admittedly neither would be my first choices to play in casuals etc.
Matt you play in like 1 tournament a year. Pretty sure Rob matches that.
If there aren’t any games out that I truly love and want to play at a tournament level why would I enter them? Doesn’t mean I won’t be serious about P4U.

Silliness aside I’m getting really excited for Storm Fusion. Also coming up is a CEO monthly on September 29th. Florida ASW community (myself included) pushed for P4A and it’s officially on the roster. Anyone thinking of going? Confirmed games are AE/UMvC3/KOF13 (360) and TTT2/P4A (PS3). It’ll be a one day event there and back. Hoping Adonis can make it up for that one, that would be sick!
