Alright, so after watching the video that Mike J posted with Tron/Thor/She-Hulk, I have to say that was one of THE hottest team arrangements I’ve seen in a long time. It got boring watching the same setup, but its still legit as fuck. I’d love to put together a team like that, but just don’t have the ingenuity to think of that kind of stuff
Also, Im calling perma-commentator since Im still on the fence on whether I want to play tomorrow or not. MMs are definitely on, though.

was awesome seeing everyone out there. Sorry i didnt play just felt hella tired. Rushed there after work and felt good until the adrenaline stopped then i felt like a sack of cow shit. I wouldve fucked around for the 5$ but i didnt think it was gonna be worth blowing 15$ when i was feeling like passing out.

P.S. I stopped by panda express for the first time, and wow this mandarin chicken is good as fuck. Thier chop sticks suck balls but the food is delicious.

There was a dude there rocking the Astro Mixamp i told you about chris. You saw how the sound still came out of the monitor but he still had direct feed sound into his headset. Really would like to get one myself for my headset by the end of the year.
It’s pretty sweet. Hooks up to the console via an optical cable (sold separately unless you pick up one of their amp+headset bundles) and can be powered by either one of the console’s USB ports or by 4 AAs. Lasts about 10 hours on my rechargeables, which is more than enough for a weekend. All PS3s and the newer 360s have optical ports built into the console, but for the older 360s that have HDMI ports but no optical port, you need one of these adapters. On 360, you just plug it in and play, but on PS3, you have to change one setting in the system menu (something like “audio multi out”) to On before it will work.
I saw Filipino Champ and Fubarduck using one of these in my pool at Final Round and decided to pick one up myself shortly afterward. I was just too damn tired of being blown up by assists that I’d be able to punish if I could hear them. There are probably cheaper solutions, and I’m pretty sure FChamp is using some kind of wireless model now, but I’m pretty satisfied with this thing.

Storm Fusion guys: Tyger is going to do more team tournaments. Looking like right now everything will be on Friday though EXCEPT he’s thinking about squeezing P4U in on Sunday. Looking for a team if anyone is thinking of playing that’s going to Storm. Kinda sucks if everything on Friday, if we leave at 5 we will probably miss it all
Monday is Labor Day so I have that day off anyways! Don’t think I’ll be getting a hotel room for Sunday though; just means I can take my time going home. I personally won’t be taking off Friday because I’m taking Drew and others that got stuff to do that day. Looks like P4U teams will be either Saturday or Sunday so I’m good.
