old school cartridge games were really damn expensive. From 64 all the way to vanilla nintendo everything was between 70 and 100 bucks.

Except for learning how to use teleports properly (I’m not used to having that movement option)… Dorm is… kinda easy mode. Tri-dash A is retarded. Tri-dash C is just dumb. The hitbox is too big (although it does make sense), way too much hit stun to confirm into shit and his moves fit perfectly with the way that I zone with my team. Black Hole as an assist is retarded.
School shit! I’m going out to most of the majors in the area this year (if possible). Plus, maybe we’ll all make a “let’s go chill with Adonis” trip to Tampa soon!
For realz! We are not buying carts anymore and discs are for sure not as nearly expensive. My folks only bought the $60 games when it was my b-day or Christmas. We just rented the rest.
Like that article said, the bubble for games is bursting from many factors. And if the price goes up, that is just another reason for me not to buy. I maybe buy like 10 games a yer now because of price hikes.
I would like to be optimistic, but prices are going up on everything. I maybe go out to eat like once or twice a month now and groceries at the store are getting crazy. Gas prices for transport and minimum wage going up are good reasons for food going up. But what about games? The only things I could think of are greed and inflation. Maybe it costs more with new technology, but that throws me out of the equation b/c I have to cover costs of needs(family/home) and wants(games) are on the back burner if that is the case.

it is except now youll have a beast fight with you. the beast can run the same battle types (commando synergist etc), but you can also combine them to make them more powerful, they also can be powered up through some kindve gems iirc and they also have a limit break that you have a mini action sequence to perform once the meter gets to max. I actually had alot of fun with it. i was running a beast that had high HP and a knock down spell with sentinel, and he was tanking damage, and aggroing like a beast!(provoke spell) while my team mates were beating that ass like assassins. haha. Nah man i actually had fun with it, you must not have taken your time to really get to the meat of the beast types and playstyles. Its really fun. Cant wait to see some of the higher level ones you get later on.
P.S. a few beasts’ limit breaks have the joystick going up, right, down, left. Save yourself the trouble of trying to hit those exact inputs because spinning the analog stick in a 360 really quick will get you all of those way easier.
Nothing about the game made me really want to play it. I like controlling my whole party; it’s part of why I haven’t finished my copy of FF12 and it’s what is turning me off from playing Persona 3. After 4 I might just go back and replay FF7. If this HD Remake of FF10 uses 13’s gameplay style as rumored I am definitely not picking that up.
i beat 4 2 months ago and just beat persona 3 like mid december is. yea i used to hate games where you couldn’t control your whole party, but only if the AI is dumb. i can deal with mediocre AI but trash/poorly designed AI and i just cant play it. thankfully i havent run into an rpg with those elements that is THAT bad.
Also what saved FFXII for me was the gambit/programming system. fuck i wish that was in EVERY damn game. too fun spending a hour or so getting an entire command line down to break the game. negalmuur anyone? i went to sleep on a ho and let my ps2 do the work on that one. woke up with my party at level 80 and told those bitches to get back to work for another 8 hours for level 99. lmao.
Gambit system was pretty awesome actually. Another thing I liked was the license board but I know a lot of dudes have hella problems with that thing. That game was interesting but overall felt like an offline MMO that only you could play. It was weird. But refreshing.
The one on Tenn. St across from the target? Man, that stick has been there for months, I made a post a good while back about it!
On appalachee. It was 40$ but they had it marked down for 15$ so I snagged it.
