Tallahassee 2012: Streaming Tuesday casuals, twitch.tv/LowTierSteve!

Yeah! I was definitely slurring words and kept adding words onto the ends of sentences for no reason. I totally forgot I commentated about one or two matches until Drew reminded me. I was just chatting with the stream folks and they thrust a mic at me. You can actually hear me say “…<something> Ron Kimberly <something>…” before they hand me a mic.

Pretty much what Adam said on this one. If you want to keep your crowns, the best route would be a custom plate, the most efficient route would be a plexi overlay, and the cheapest would be tape/hot glue to add girth to the crowns. Screw-in Semitsu’s would be your best bet, IMO.

Dropping Rose, cus she has too many counterpicks against her for the few bad matchups she covers for Rogster. Ryu/Akuma/Fei/Sagat are who I’m looking at. For Fei, CJ would train me directly, Akuma I’d have Petey train me on the vortex and watch Tokido/Daigo for fireball zone, while Ryu and Sagat I probably can flow with a little more, but would take more work to get solid with the fireball zone. Any suggestions?

Akuma, I want to see your risky side.

I read this as “I want to see if you can do REAL mixups.”

GGs to Chris on helping me iron out Ryu and Fei, i got a long way to go with them, but their fun as hell and back Dudley up a shit ton on bad matchups. Also, Akuma’s Crouch M. Kick goes under projectiles (Including Shinkuu Hadoken), who knew?

We all know you can’t.

Ogre lookin’ like a goddamn Seth palate swap.

i keep telling u fei u keep asking like i didnt tell u already…

Actually I have to agree with Jay on this one; he has an uncanny ability to pick effective characters for people based on their playstyle.

Or Fei could just be the SHIT.

I think it’s the former.

I knew! (well you asked) Dude can buffer cr.mk into SGS too.

Jay: my nig, you’ve also said Sagat, Guile, and Ryu! Idk why Akuma came in the mix - this vortexing shit is really hard, having to op. select damn near everything. But that low life and having to play match ups perfectly… So fun! Although tbh, I do like Fei/Sagat more than Ryu/Akuma.

My SFxT team is official: Hugief.

Naw Im not really concerned with the diameter Im more worried with the depth of the mounting surface. (ie the face of the T.E.). Its too shallow for the clips on the buttons.

This weekend only at Gamestop: buy an MK fightstick ($99), get MK9 for free. Plus the sticks already come with the Kollection for free too.

Also, KoF is $39.

does anyone have any tips for Just frames. Trying to get Cervantes’ 214:B down, and i can’t get it down consistently

Practice

That’s honestly all you can do, Drew. Find the timing, practice it.

What they said. For Natsu’s A:6 I just got good at it by doing it a lot (not in practice mode, in matches). Her JF there is almost the exact time that the 5A hits the opponent, just get the JF once or twice and try to focus on the visual frame you’re supposed to hit.

Drew I need to get my copy of KoF back ASAP

To be fair that only works for moves like that. To JF an ability like Pyhrra stab(236B) you just have to practice it over and over, since visually there isn’t a difference you can time. For the command moves like Cervantes 214B, you generally have to press the B at the same frame that you complete the motion. I am not certain that this is the same for Cervantes’ move, but I assume it is.

Also, Natsu having so many followups from her basic A is ridiculous, even if A:6 and AAB are both punishable on block.
