I got 4th in SCV. Would’ve gotten at least second but…the time between my last match in my bracket and the first finals match was large enough for me to get just completely drunk. By the time I made it back I could barely hit buttons and this Voldo player just completely ran over me.
On the flip side, I put Jebailey out of KoF AND SCV. I’m his tournament demon! (Street Fighter aside.)

I just spectated, and… I’m probably going to keep doing that for awhile cus tournaments are kinda not fun.
Woooo, we got third in teams with THE most disfunctional team in the joint. Someone thought they could OSV all of us but his team ended up getting OCVed by ME, with ALL of the characters being direct counter picks to c.LP. Get it, bitch.
Ended up almost OCVing Team Miami for 2nd but got reversed OCV’d by Flocker and his Cammy which put us out. Quite disappointed (not really - shit was just for bragging rights) since I know that match up very well but played it like absolute shit (hungry and sleepy by the time we got to it). Dude is absolute ridiculous in MvC3 though.
Had a great time playing with CJ and ShinPhoenix almost exclusively, and bodying people in Marvel with my mediocre Mags and berderper slash-o-rama.
Spectating is far more fun than playing in tournaments to me. I’ve said it a few times before but I wouldn’t even compete in anything other than majors if it wasn’t for the meager amount of money I occasionally win. Waiting hours to play for 8 minutes just isn’t fun anymore, even if it’s getting bodied by someone amazing.
Yeah, I agree. That’s why I much prefer RR over double elim. I’ve hated double elim tournaments since dance games for the exact same reason, especially considering not being warmed up is far more detrimental. I honestly think it’d be a better showing of skill for majors if top 4/8 were round robins rather than elimination, but I certainly understand how time consuming it is, especially seeing as everyone wants to be on stream.
Tournies suck.

Yo Chris. So, I was in the process of sending you this junk, but Im looking at these crown buttons and they dont fit snuggly into the holes in the T.E. is that an issue?
Crown’s are 28mm The holes in the T.E. are 30mm. You can either get a custom faceplate with 28mm holes, a plexi with 28mm holes to overlay your stock T.E. Faceplate, or put a shit ton of thread tape on the buttons to make them snug (I wouldn’t recommend this). Is there a reason why you wanted crown buttons? Seimitsu’s are almost as firm IMO.
