STICKY THIS SHIT

A sticky requires enough interest in it. Lets see how it plays out for a few days. I personally use Teamspeak on my comp (but it’s dead at the moment) so I may not be on much till I can get my shit back up.

me and phil mcfly did something similar along time ago. We used xbox live to chat and played through kaillera :rofl: or you could use your cell phones whatever works.

Hey This thing is pretty neat. I just tried it out with my cousin and it was pretty cool. No lag at all. I also played some random guy in the server and we kept yelling at eachother, lol. It was pretty fun. hopefully more people will try it out.

Teamspeak ‘does’ use bandwith, so if you have a problem with your bandwith not being able to keep up, it’ll make it worse… Most of Kaillera’s connection problems are because of the (crappy)servers being overloaded, not because of the players connection speeds, though. That, or EMU problems.

On topic, though… You can check out “Ventrillo” or “Roger Wilco”, both of those are pretty much the same thing as Teamspeak. I prefer Teamspeak myself, and have it on my PC from when I used to play some old console stuff online.

where can i buy a headset and can u play a game and do this?

Of course can play while using voice chat, that’s kinda the whole point of this. Well probably not on 56k.

You can get a headset for as cheap at $2.99 online;

sweet does this hook up to the usb port cuz i already have my adapter hooked up to that.

This sounds nice. I already have a headset so I’ll try it out one day. I have a T1 connection so bandwith ain’t a problem for me.

just use what most cs players use ventrilo it’s easy to use just set that shit up

This works pretty good. I had an MP3 battle with this guy. I had a little trouble gettin my headset set up. I used the one I use for SOCOM II.

Say, how do I get the IP of a server on kaillera if I don’t know it?

On the server list, up top, you’ll see multiple fields. Server Name, Location, # connected, etc etc. You can drag the borders of those fields. Make Server Name really small, and Location really big, etc. The IP field is up there too, but, it’s hidden, on the far right side. All you have to do it click and hold the Right Edge, of the Right Border, and drag it over to the right. Bam, Instant IP List.
