Taking a Happ competition joystick out of the panel!

Hey everybody.

I’ve tried and I’ve tried, but I can’t seem to remove a Happ competition joystick from a control panel. I undid every screw, took out the microswitches, the whole deal. But I still won’t come apart.

What’s the trick?!

remove the eclip that holds the joystick shaft together. after that you should be able to remove all the shaft and all the parts associated with it. then after that you have to remove the 4 screws that connect the plastic base to the top panel. you unscrew those and then just remove the base from the bottom. You might have to the nuts in place with a wrench and use a screw driver to remove the screws from the top but I forget.

if you need more information just look at this guide: http://arcadestickmonk.com/SFACmod.html

skip to the installing happ stick part and do what they do but in reverse.

the eclip is pictured in the guide but incase you can’t figure it out it’s the little ring thing on the bottom of the joystick shaft. you’ll probably need a flat head screw driver to remove it and be sure not to lose it cause it’s pretty small!

The little e clip is at the very bottom, pop it off with a screw driver.

Be careful if you want to keep it; it will go flying.

finally got that bugger of an e-clip out…thanks for the help everybody!

no prob, I live to give. no homo if applicable.
