Um, you’ll probably have to have someone who has gotten it off of cv.com to send it to you or something. I didn’t really want to register to dl stuff at first neither, but eh… Whatever.
Kindebu contributed in the sense that he showed me some of the stuff that inspired me to work on a Maki video in the first place. Ricky is a scrub and just helped me perform some of the combos.
I guess eventually enough people will have it so that you can find it on direct connect, mirc, whatever, but I dunno how long that will take.
I watch your vid last night its really cool. The only thing that you really need to add is pressure string combo move and the throws like the BIble guide. It make more people to do the basics. Since the comboes in the vid are really hard to do. Can you do a vid that gives tips and Pressure strings ?
I’ve honestly never really seen people do “pressure strings” in match play that aren’t simply just jab, jab, jab or crouching short, short, short.
They may look impressive in videos, but their practicality is pretty shitty.
Pressure strings that aren’t links/chains involve some sort of forward movement from the offensive character. No decent player I know will let some dood walk/run up for like 10 secs straight doing stuff like s.jab, c.short, c.strong, c.jab, c.strong, s.jab, throw. That stuff only works when you’re WAY better than the guy you’re playing and the dood is completely overwhelmed.
My vid had stuff that was easy/practical, medium/kinda practical, and hard/unpractical. I didn’t want to add in stuff that was easy/unpractical/useless.

*this vid was pretty crazy btw… The customs were very cool to look at, plus I got to learn all that running, 50/50, off the wall crap I never would of figured out on my own as well. I wish you maybe incorporated some frame data and hitbox info in there though. Still, overall, an excellent tutorial. Thanks for the vid! :bgrin:
