After talking to Adam B regarding the 5 on 5, I’m making it a decision to leave the 3s 5 on 5 team as it is. The only way the 5 on 5 team is going to change is if someone chooses not to play. In which case I’ll replace that person with someone of my choosing.

It appears we are in need of a 7th game for the 5 on 5 set versus Empire. The 7th game will be Super Turbo. Assuming ORBIT installs the game by June 24th, we will be having a qualifier tournament.
David Spence and Kevin Tam have been given automatic spots.
Everyone else will be subject to the qualifier. Good luck to you all…

I suggest that Roger (R1Beatdown) be given an automatic spot as well.
Roger has done well in past ST/AE tournies held in the GTA. He’s also had experience playing against guys like Cole, Watson, Ricky and JWong. Plus he knows the game as well as me and Spence.
Why should he have to fight for a spot when he’s already proved himself to be a good choice for a ST 5-on-5?
I’d like to have Berkeley Brian in on this as well, that would make 4 good players for the team, but I’m not sure that he’ll be making it to this one.
Let’s secure at least 3 players who have a chance to win against Empire, hopefully 4, and let those who want a chance prove themselves on June 24th.

I agree with Roger. Putting him in this qualifier would be a waste of time and he’s already proven himself in the past. Should he even be in this, it’s gonna be obvious he’s gonna win 1st. Just give him the auto-spot and let the other participants fight for the remaining 2 spots.
