Yes… lets not speak of that again. I definately blew matches I shouldn’t have, but my reasoning is that I was in practice with MSS at the time and was requested by everyone on the team to play Santhrax. I regretted not playing MSS that day, and still do. I placed 5th using MSS only, so please don’t base my skill against American players by that. Especially the match with Q. I owned Q hardcore with MSS in the actual tournament and gave X a run for his money. This time around when I make it I’ll actually use my team in practice… and not switch from it because g3nn or Justin or others believe my santhrax does better against them. Unless Santhrax is my team in practice at the time.

Your Santhrax is MUCH better than your MSS. And I dont remember asking you to use Santhrax, but if I did, here is my reasoning (this is just constructive critism, not trash-talk… feel free to send the same my way):
- Of the top players in the GTA, your blocking is probably the poorest. Bry and I discussed this, and we both agreed that we’d rate it below Matt, Roger and even JS. Thus, MSS having no anti-air makes you vulnerable to good rush down.
- Your Sentinel is your best character. And you fast-fly better than anyone else in Canada. Commando is great compliment to your Sentinel, both defensively and offensively.
- Your Commando on point is very solid. Personally, I’d much rather face your MSS Magneto than your Capcom with Sent-G.
- MSS best counters Commando-assisted teams (Scrub, Santhrax etc). IFRC, Q was the only one of their team who picked Commando. Matrix and Sanford were using Cyclops and Cable assist, and X was using Row-reverse… which are handled better by Santhrax.
So in conclusion, I stand by my decision to tap King Of Naboo’s sweet ass last night. Sorry about the soreness.

I proved my point BTW. The only person not on the invitation list that bothered to try in this tournament was Jay and he tied 9th. The top eight players in today’s CvS2 tournament were Roger/Eric and six of the invited players. Barring an invited player dropping out, the qualifier is now officially closed to any other players. If they bitch, that’s too fucking bad. They had a shot to prove me wrong and blew it.
