Team tournaments have FINALLY resumed…
Team Empire White (Justin/Ricky/Arturo) have been eliminated by Team Fuck You (Jonstar/Tigerlee/ATM Spidertao) in the CvS2 Team Tournament. Empire finishes out of top 3 (4th & tied 5th respectively).
Ricky says can’t RC on japanese controls. Not Orbit controls specifically. He said he cant play cvs2 well cuz of the button layout on japanese joysticks.
I hate japanese sticks too.
Live Update: Justin Wong has 50 more tries to get the Doraemon from the claw game. And he sucks at foozball.

Just to be fair and on the up and up, there is no excuses for when we lose. So please no one pose about sticks sucking for the Empire. We are not complaining about the sticks. Real champions adapt and deal with shit. So we are dealing with it.
Great and important post. Keeps the scene healthy. If some Empire player complains about any stick once, every single nobody at srk will start coming up with a zillion excuses for why they got last instead of first at Evo, ECC or whatever, pretty much back to pre-srk times (where everybody thought they were unbeatable and used to blame losses on bad luck, sticks, or cheapness )
Anyway, Empire is doing great in Canada, as always. Congrats to all of you!
paul lee and i traveled to t5 and had some issues aswell. i still managed to clutch out a3 and ae, but cvs2 and 3s were a totally different story. loses are understandable, and thats where home court advantage falls into play… gj canada. not taking anything away from your wins.

Well, I can’t adjust to the Japanese sticks at all…it’s not that theyre bad or anything, I just cant play on them competively at all… sorry america, looks like i’m going to let yall down :sad:

basically i kept getting perfected every game i played and jwo/ricky would have to come back. None of the singles tourneys have started yet, I hope I don’t go like 2 and out or something 
Aside from my troubles, this tourney is hella tight…environment here is practically better than every major, and the girls here are fucking hot as hell…haha. Anyway, later!

I think not being able to adjust to sticks and certain button configurations is a more than justifiable complaint. All this silliness about being ‘champions’ is just that, silly, because you are human after all.
