Having things carry on to Sunday is a bitch for out of town people that have to drive back … And im sure local people too will tell you not to do it … like buddah said above last year Sunday was so NOT HYPE that if i didnt have to drive people back i would have never went back to Sunday … Also before moving dates check with out of town people if they didnt already book stuff … anyways ur tourney run it as you want it but the more i read this thread the less interested i am … GG
Why is Friday starting so late? If you start at an earlier time, you can probably fit so much more.
And I guess the other awkward thing is, why is side games AFTER SSF4 top 8? Chances are everyone’s going to go home after top 8 is over.
You do realize that monday… is a holiday…
people have work on friday, and out of towners will have problems making it in on friday anyways.

Seriously though let’s a) keep the labor day weekend, moving it just so Justin can come take all our money is not going to put anyone on any map anywhere, and b) get spooky running/promoting the stream. That alone will do huge things for canadian street fighter.
A million times yes to both. I’m gonna definitely see if I can get a ride up for singles (maybe SSF4 and Tekken?) on Saturday.
I want to make sure I emphasize this clearly, the theme of T11 is a “Community Driven” tournament. I do take comments seriously and thank everyone who contributes in a professional manner. Rather than the salty and bitter ones.
After the many many PM’s I got about people already booking days off, the date will stick to labour day weekend. As an Organizer, I always think of the possible ideas of making our community greater without alienating players. I would like for Justin and his crew to come but if the community suffers a great loss for it, i don’t think i would want that.

Vince will Stream the tournament. He has the equipment and have graciously offered to help assist T11. Commentators are pending.
Regarding side games on sunday, that’s for any games people want to run.
As you can see, 3S was already added in the schedule for friday.
Tekken and BB will run their side games on the same date.
MAIN SCHEDULE
FRIDAY
6:00pm - Registration begins
7:00pm - Super Street Fighter IV Team Tournament begins
8:00pm - 3S Singles Begins
8:00pm - BB and GG Teams
We will finish Teams on this date regardless of what time it is.
SATURDAY
12:00pm - Registration continues
2:00pm - Super Street Fighter IV Singles begins
3:00pm - Blazblue Singles
3:00pm - Tekken 6: BR Singles
We will try to finish SSFIV singles this date, if not, it will carry over to next day.
SUNDAY
2:00pm: Carry over slot for any tournaments that are not be able to finish on Saturday night.
3:00pm: Unofficial Side Games. Run whatever but please let me know if you are.

You didn’t just turn down an offer from the most popular streaming team on the east coast right?
I’m sure Spooky excels at what he does. I also know that RXS excels at what he does.
I already talked about it with Vince and he said he will bring the best streaming he can provide.

You turned down spooky stream?! That could easily get use 1000+ viewers just because it has spooky’s name attached to it.
Please reconsider letting spooky do the stream!
You know, it’s hard to believe you’re open to legitimate “professional” suggestions when the majority of this last page alone has been cosigning Spooky yet you blow past it and stick to your guns. :bluu:
