Downtown Hotels are not really far from the event altogether with a car. Max 15 min drive without traffic.
Hotels in downtown are also close to Subway so you don’t have to take the car if you don’t want.
Arturo is confirmed with his crew. Spooky might come with him if he gets a passport in time.
I did confirm with Chris from POWNZ, he has equipment to stream if anything.
I spammed a few regions but nobody confirmed yet, all maybe’s at the moment.

Hey guys, just have some questions. I wanted to ask when using a ps3 controller in the tourney, are you allowed to use L2 and R2 as 3 punches and 3 kicks? Also, I’m slow, so I got confused on the volunteering aspect. So if I volunteer at the registration table, joining the tourney is a no no? but if I help with set up, I’m okay to join?
standard evo rules state that you can map 3p and 3k buttons on your pad. But since it’s an xbox console, you’d be hard pressed to get your ps3 pad to work on the xbox, unless you’re talking about a ps2 pad with a converter, or you’re not talking about SSF4
But I’ll let Russell make that ruling.

I’ve actually bought 3 sticks all in all, but sold 2 already (Yes, I’m that stupid). No matter how much I practiced, I just couldn’t get full consistency on some motions to be reliable enough. So I’m sticking with what works best for me. I still suck at SF, but if I’m gonna play horribly, I might as well be comfortable.
