T.hawk!!! Yes!!!

Anyone else find it weird his condor spire is a reverse dragon punch motion + P instead of something like dragon punch motion + K?

It can go over some moves and the EX version goes through projectiles. I guess they probably tried it with DP + K, but it was too good, so they made it a reverse DP motion instead so you couldn’t just walk forward and then do a QCF + K on reaction.

Did not know the EX version had that property. Can Condor Spire be done mid air?
T. Hawk looks so good SSF4. Looking forward to trying him out

i actually think its better for the rdp motion rather than a regular dp motion… cause you can block while attempting it.

I thought they would drop the ball on making T.Hawk decent but he is looking quite strong.
Look to have a long distance grab. Has a cross-up and seems more mobile then gief.

Even without a Lariat, T. Hawk looks strong. I gonna try him out.
My brother on the other hands mains grappler exclusively.

lol @ how dead the T. Hawk section is!

This indicates one of either two things:
1. No one likes him and he’ll be a Gouken-esque pariah for only me to use! (YES!! :woot:), or
2. Only n00bs will whore him, a la 'Gief, and on-line will be replete with Hawks in the initial months as stats whores button-mash and stick-twirl themselves into statistical heaven.

Here’s hoping the former prediction is realised.

It’s dead because there’s not much more to say about T.Hawk until release.

I hope not many people pick him. Will make it all the easier for me in comps when nobody has matchup experience.

Don’t think so. There is alot to discuss about T.Hawk. I mean look at the other threads.
Guy and Adon has less footage than T,.HAwk yet this discussion is only 28 pages.

I think alot of ppl just do not like T.Hawk.
Well he gain popularity once the game comes out.

^^^^

i keep saying this, but noobs wont pick up THawk like they did Gief. They can’t mash Lariat with him, which was a HUGE reason why Gief was so noob friendly. Lariat was basically anti-everything. With THawk they need to commit themselves to a DP (which can’t be FADCed) if they want to AA someone. I’m gonna safe jump noob THawks for free.

exactly ^^

Pretty sure Hawk doesn’t have a cross-up in SSF4.

His d+fierce body splash is still in, and it has always been a crossup in SF games

I played the game last weekend in Akihabara. T.Hawk is, as of now, probably who I plan to main but that could change once I try people out more.

His down fierce in air is indeed a crossup. He has tons of great normals, which is what I like about him the most, and the air dive move seems really fast and useful.

yay? nay?

Was going to say nay, but then I saw the HMMMMMMMMMMs  Maybe one big picture with HMMMMMMMMM in bigger font underneath.

Pity that’s not in Super and instead we get annoying condor sounds!

Nay

But, I also do like the HMMMMMMMMM…

Too bad it won’t be in this game… :frowning:

This is perfect. I really miss that not being in the game. :frowning:

edit: Like Juicebox acting out Abel’s ultra, the T Hawk playerbase clearly needs some player at tournaments to go HRMMMMMMMMMMMMM every time they land a throw.
