Regardless, like someone said, having this and a super ready will REALLY give you an advantage. Same as Gief, which there is a thread all about it.

T.Hawks voice sounds terrible. hope they change it. or maybe the japanese voice is better.
Man your opponents WILL JUMP, you have a command grab that looks as good as if not better than gief’s, plus much more ways to close distance. If your opponets aren’t jumping away when you’re close to them either they’re stone cold mother fuckers or you’re doing something very very wrong.
And if simply selcting this ultra stops your opponents from jumping then that’s just even better because you’ll be landing more grabs.
T.Hawks looks to be a very interesting char right now.
Ultra 2 all day. You have a 360 to scare them into jumping anyways. Ultra I does massive damage. Probably good for someone like balrog who stays grounded, maybe even sagat.
I don’t know who is going to jump at you when you have EX, he seems good at knocking people out of the air without ultra.
its not about jumping AT you, its about mind games that lead to them jumping AWAY from you!

ULtra 2!!! Vlevery designed by cacom. one of the most brutal looking Ultras i’ve seen. MAny are probably going to Play T. Hawk because of this ultra.Most palyers weren’t even inerested ion T. hawk now after the ultra many are convinced he will be decent. I will try him out at least. I’m not big fan of slow grappler type characters. Abel is great because of his other options IMO.
I’m also interested in what Hakan has to bring to the table.
I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t like his second ultra. It reminds me of Bam Bam from the Flintstones. He’s just slamming the opponent around everywhere by their foot; a little too cartoony for me. All he needs to be saying is “BAM BAM BAM BAM!!!” while he’s doing it.

It reminds me of TMNT Turtles in Time, when you hold up and attack.
This ultra is very useful, looks like i’ll be using t.hawk a lot more than I originally thought…
Did you not see his first ultra? I didnt know we were trying to be serious sam playing a game where we throw fireballs from fists and have russian wrestlers jumping 10+ feet into the sky.
What else are you gonna do when i’m advancing safely with EX spire (hope that move is as good and safe as it looks) and doing poke/blockstrings into grabs? SRK? Have fun getting baited. Only options I can see are clever backdashes and outpoking him, in all fairness outpoking him is probably possible but IMHO that’s what condor spire is for, you start poking and I just pop right back in with a safe on block move in your face! or hawk dive for the knockdown.
In theory I think he’s gonna be able to lay down the pressure game like all hell, with that damage you only need to guess right once or twice to even the match out. We’ll see how it works out in practice… I guess it depends on his wakeup game too.
And I thought Deejay U2 was brutal…this is uncivilized rape.

T.Hawk is gonna be the new Gief, especially if they nerf lariat.
