I hope some Hawk buffs are announced soon, Hakan got some, so Hawk needs some now.

I’m guessing now that other characters got nerfs, Hawk won’t get buffed, but instead just get adjustments to his inputs. He’ll be on a more even playing field.

i will never play hawk in sf4 again if he gets 0 buffs.

The translation was rough, but the SSF4 wiki has some news, and it says that Hawk can back jump Condor Dive, I think. Is that good for you Hawk players?

Would be nice, It is my only major gripe with T.hawk.

EDIT: Seems like only the new EX Dive works on a back jump. But if we’re lucky, it will be an overhead like the post-EX-Tomahawk version.

So he can do that, and he has EX Condor Dive stand alone, performable by KKK. Don’t actually know it’s properties over the regular version, though.

What? Really? Wonder what standalone EX condor Dive is possibly for? I’m hoping it’s an answer for Blanka’s upball. Or it would be something like HD remix where it’s a dive that does not knock down and puts you right beside your opponent where you can mix things up. Just my speculation, though.

Jump back Dive could help him I think. Can imagine it to be used for baiting purposes or punishes.

I love the ideas on the change to U2 motion to make it faster. It is quite hard to pull off on the fly.

I think that means that Ultra has fewer startup frames and more range. I would say that’s a pretty good buff, especially the faster startup time. Basically, his Ultra 2 has a bigger hitbox and grabs faster…and s.hp has a bigger hitbox, which would make it useful as an anti-air, perhaps?

I think it makes the match up almost free. we wont find out until arcade hits though. Mainly because Seth lost his best tool when it comes to keeping us out.

For hawk, it talks about the ex condor dive, the ultra 2 hit box and startup, and the last one is about fierce punch getting a larger hitbox, I believe.

I wonder how the larger hitbox works though? To me it could mean many implications:

-I can hit crouchers with it
-I can reach further. Could be nice if the range makes it easier for me to stop fireballs at it tracks in a good distance.
-It can hit higher. Meaning I could use it as antiair.

For me the last implication is unnecessary since I already have other better antiair options, the first two would be great.
