This month we’re headed back to Larger Than Life Toys & Comics for tournament game play!
We’re calling on all you BlazBlue Central Fiction & StreetFighter 5 players out there!
We had a good turnout for BlazBlue early July and want to give this title another afternoon to shine!
This event is for both competitive players, casual players and those just interested in spectating!

All Central NY regions are invited, welcome and encouraged to come play and support the local FGC scene!

Come compete, sharpen your skills and connect with local/regional players!

Street Fighter 5:

  • Standard Double Elimination matches will be best 2/3 games, Winners Finals, Losers Finals and Grand Finals 3/5.

BlazBlue: Central Fiction

  • Standard Double Elimination matches will be best 2/3 games, Winners Finals, Losers Finals and Grand Finals will be best 3/5.

  • Bring Your Own Controller. You might able to use/ask to use other’s controllers on site but bringing your own will ideally help with time constraints.

LOCATION CONDUCT RULES:

Reminded: were expecting competitive players, casual players, and those who are simply looking for a few fun rounds. Varying skill levels will be all across the spectrum!

As always we want this event to be entertaining and a safe space for all those that join us. Harassment will not be tolerated and those who choose to will be asked to please leave the venue.

Use of foul language or loud unsportsmanlike outbursts before, during and after the tournament will come with a warning first offense. Those who choose to offend a second time will kindly be asked to leave the venue.

Syracuse SuckerPunch events are held in Family Friendly Environments, so let’s keep it fun, friendly, and classy!

Other rules:
1). For the players who bring their systems and controllers please mark your belongings so you know they are yours.

2.) Please make sure your controllers are fully charged or you have a charging cable available.

3.) Turn controllers that are not being used off

4.) Before you turn on a controller during tournament game play make sure it is not synced to a system that has a tournament game being played on it. (plug the charging cable into the system and your controller you want to play on before you turn on the controller). You can be disqualified if you interrupt a tournament game so please pay attention.

5.) In the event there is a power outage, the system freezes during gameplay or there is an outside interference that compromises a match the TO and/or bracket manager will make the decision to determine if the game gets played over.

6.) It’s very important that you play the correct opponent so if you have any questions about who you play against please contact the TO or bracket manager for info.

7.) Confirm with TO and/or bracket manager that you are playing against the right person.

8.) If you have to leave the tournament for any reason and can no longer continue to play you will not receive a refund. Refund only apply in the event there is an issue with the venue and/or TO causing the tournament to be canceled.

9.) TOs reserve the right to change any low participant tournament into a Round Robin or Swiss format.

  1. All converters, except for the XCM Crossfire 3.0 and Brook super converters, are banned on PS4. You must bring and use a USB extension cable with your Brook converter to prevent damage to our consoles’ controller ports.

ADDITIONAL IN-GAME RULES:

*We reserve the right to add, delete or change any of the above rules at any time during the tournament, especially when a new glitch is found.
*By agreeing to participate in the video game tournament, you grant full permission to the event organizers, with no obligation to compensate you, to use your name, voice, statements, image, likeness, and/or actions, in addition to any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, and/or other record of your performance(s) in the Events in perpetuity worldwide in any manner and in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised (the “Materials”), and represent that you have the right to grant such permission.
