is ricky ortiz and john choi up to the Japanese level? they seem to win most tournaments for regular SF.
what was Taiji’s MSP like? 
It was dope. He almost got a perfect on someone but then I think he did team super on accident.
That Josh guy using Yun on 3s was hella dope.

Howdy, i was there too, i might have played you in the team tourney, but I’m not so sure, i was using Cable/Strider/Doom.
Just wondering, it sounds like you come from a place where Sentinel/Capcom doesn’t totally dominate. Is my assumption correct? I’m sure what i’m saying is gonna sound sarcastic, but what other teams are people using? Sounds pretty damn rad to not have to watch Sentinel/Capcom all day because it seems like every tournament here is just a giant Sentinel/Capcom circle jerk. I mean, i can’t fathom it. I’ve been taping local tournaments since 1/11/03 and if i was to get rid of every match that wasn’t Sentinel/Capcom vs Sentinel/Capcom, i end up with only 20 matches (excluding the first round of the tourney, since i never tape that).
Anyways, thanks in advanced and good job in the tournament. It was fun to watch your matches on my way home.

I think the main difference here is there more people using magneto (msp, mag/cable/sent, ms/sent, mag/cable/tron, mag/cable/doom mag/sent/im etc.). I’d say in most so cal tournies main teams would be storm/sent/xxx, team scrub, and magneto teams. Besides those, sometimes there’s IM teams, strider/doom’s, doom/storm/xxx, etc… Hope that answered your question.

Someone put up my match against taiji! Storm/Cable/Clops for evaaaaa! Oh man, Magneto normal jump, air dash while calling Psylocke… I think i got hit by that like 5 times. I was hoping taiji would get hit by 5 or 6 random Cyke AAA and random hailstorms.
