When Ricky won a couple of weeks ago vs CHOI, I never heard a word, now that CHoi won due to one match finals in both (mind you, ricky was STILL IN WINNERS BRACKET) he decided to make big deal about it, without knowing the real story. That’s ok I guess, whatever floats your boat, but everyone here knows the truth about Ricky. I mean, didn’t Choi just lose to Gee-O? No one said anything about that, it was kind of brushed off, but whatever, who cares. Ricky is the best, and he owns everyone for free with A Dan.
So Choi has beaten Ricky in 4 out of 6 tournaments? The two times Ricky beat Choi was @ SVGL (I got to see that live, yay!) and at BEARcade. I think Choi is the best.
choi is good but I think ricky is fuckin tight too. I never got to see ricky play a groove dan. everytime I saw him play he was using k sagat cammy blanka or a groove vega sakura cammy. but he would prolly own me up with a groove dan.

I recorded the finals on saturay and it was 2 out of 3 in the finals. choi sent to ricky to losers so ricky had to win twice. ricky won the first set 2-1 but lost second set 2-0. but it could have gone either way. ricky had some crazy just defending skills and choi had crazy combos.
sunday cvs2 tourney was last minute tournament and entire tournament was 1 game even in finals. choi was in losers this time and won 2 games in finals to win. both of them are sick.
I recorded finals for mvc2 also and randy vs genghis was one of the best matches ive seen. team scrub is too good. I wanted ricky to win it but he lost barely to harry potter and brandon tran. storm is godly and they had sick sentinels. I will try to put the marvel footage online so you guys can see.
Like the post above says… Choi was in winners on Sat, first set 2-1 ricky, second set 2-0 Choi.
Sunday tournament 1 game. Choi coming out of losers wins 1 and 1.
Now who doesn’t know the real story? I was there! You wern’t! Choi won TWO tournaments vs ricky back to back, sat and sun. One of them (the big sat one) was NOT one game. Don’t use that as an excuse for why choi > ricky 2 days in a row mkay.
The fact is, they are both good. The fact is, Choi won 2 tournaments in a row vs ricky RECENTLY (ie, sat and sun). The fact is, JPN > USA in cvs2.
I didn’t think my little bro Randy (even after the winner’s finals) would have been able to pull out a win with the momentum that Genghis had with his Sentinel in the tournament.
Well…Randy proved me wrong.
*Someone had asked me on Sunday’s tournament why I didn’t show enough support or emotion for my little bro…well…I simply answered “he knows what he’s doing.”
I’ll show some more love for MvC2, since it’ll live forever despite the bullshit we’ve all grown to love and think about in our daily lives…

Me against Larry…how the frick did my 3% Storm survive two blocked captain fires and two blocked Captain swords, where one typhoonXXhailstorm chipped like 7% on Commando? Thus leading to my win and a roaring crowd and a stunned Larry and a shocked me. :eek:
nice tournaments i just wish they couldve all happened on the same day. couldve probably moved all the 3d games to the back and eliminate all team tournys and get that shit done saturday. me , sin and def had to leave early cause we had fucking work monday and didnt feel like getting home at 3am :lol: fuck it just some suggestions for next time, thanks for hosting the tournies and thanks to all the players that showed up
