SVGL NCR Dec 8 - 9th TK5:DR, CvS2, MvC2, SF3:3S

The annual NorCal Regionals (NCR) tradition continues at SVGL.

SVGL will once again be the home for NCR taking place on Dec 8th and 9th. The manager of SVGL has graciously made accomodations to ship over extra cabinets for all the tournament games.

(Sorry everyone, I tried to listen to the poll and get MGL but the manager is out of town that weekend. We are unable to have a tournament while he is gone)

Singles will take place on Sat 8th and teams will take place Sun 9th.

Tournaments for the following games will be held on both days:

TK5:DR
CvS2
MvC2
SF3: 3S

Saturday singles tournament rules:
Each tournament will be $10 to enter
Double elimination bracket
2of3 match set. Finals 3of5 (Note: Number of games may change pending resources and number of entrants)
Top 3 split pot 70%, 20%, 10% along with token prizes (1st place in each game will get 70% + additional cash. See below for details)

Signups until noon. Tournaments will begin at 1PM.

Sunday team tournament rules:

The team format will utilize Game Newton’s 2on2 format.

Each team will consist of 2 players. The first player from each team will face off and play 1 full game then step off. Then the remaining player from each team will face off against each other. If both players from one team wins, that team is declared the winner and advances. If there is a 1-1 tie, then the winning player from each team will face off against each other for the tie breaker.

Team tournaments will be $20 per team. Double elimination bracket.
Top 2 teams split pot 75%, 25%

Signups until noon. Tournaments will begin at 1PM.

Keystone Productions and I will donate extra money on top of the pot to 1st place in all 4 singles games as follows below. So if you win 3S, you get 70% of pot + $100. If you win TK5, you get 70% + $50.
