Ok, I’ve asked about Zero, now how 'bout some info on Mars People?
I know they’re not considered top tier or anything, but that they can hold on their in competitive play. Does anyone feel like sharing strategies with MP, or maybe providing a link to an FAQ or just ANYthing to help me get started playing with them?
Like maybe some quick BnB combos? Or what super/Exceed comboing possibilities he/she/it have. You know, strategy.

Ok…first off…Mars People piss me off if played well. It is hard to do, but can be done. First off…use the gun shot that bobs up and down more than the other…it can be confusing. Also…the explode move is a great anti-air, and also makes him hard to hit since it doens’t have many start-up frames and as soon as he re-appears he can block. If you hit someone with the special where the beams come down…run up and do the move where you twirl up into the air and come back down…should be able to hit them wiht this at least once…maybe more; especially if you hit them towards the direction the ship is moving since its beams should juggle the opponent.

Thanks for the info. I’ll take what I can get when it comes to strategy with Mars People.
I’ve played them a few times against mediocre opponents and I get destroyed every time. I really doubt it’s my skill in general that sucks though, so please refrain from saying I just suck. Mars People are just so slow, if someone gets in my face, I’m done for. Yes the explosive teleport helps, but it usually takes long enough for my opponent to stay on top of me.

What I need, is like an extensive primer on Mars People or to watch someone using he/she/it effectively.
well sir i was gonna posy awhile ago but, actually freakin mars pl is to damn good if they get in your face even better use the that gaurd rush thing i forgot the when u blaok press foward twice or bc then u do his special grab never ruch the oppenent just turtle alot and just throw high fireballs theres more on the strt but i would rather play so u can see. and also blah
