Legalized gay marriage? Yeah good thing, two consenting adults who cares. However unlike race or gender which is determined by genetics, homosexuality is environmental. This is proven through many studies done on identical twins, who have the exact same genes, yet one being gay or transgender and the other not.
Doesn’t mean it is a choice, it is something developed in the early formative years likely due to various social/environmental factors. This is what the research seems to indicate. Certainly they deserve respect like any other individual, and they aren’t choosing, they are. However it is hogwash to say ‘born gay’ or compare it to gender/race.

There are all sorts of religious exemptions that certain groups get under freedom of religion. There is a religion that is allowed to consume a specific hallucinogen, the hopi can collect bald eagle feathers, ultra orthodox rabbis in NY can suck the blood off of the penis of a baby after performing a circumcision etc. I don’t see why this wouldn’t apply to polygamy. Making it universal, no. But if you are part of one of those religions where this is a proper practice, then there shouldn’t be a problem.

It shouldn’t have taken so long for this to happen when you consider that we deal with other things like health care/corruption/overspending on unnecessary projects. Money should get the fuck out of politics, we need REAL fucking actions against climate change, IMMEDIATELY - we need more medicinal research, FAST, we need a fuckload of money to science (NASA, medicine, hospitals, stemcell, and so on…) and the poverty needs to stop in the US. - THIS, is why people should vote for Sanders, and NOT Hillary.
