Slippery slope as a construct is in itself dubious because it cannot define what is a “huge jump” versus what is an actual logical jump.
Slippery slope as a fallacy states that “A” begets “B” begets “C” so therefor in a logical progression, “A” begets “Z” since we will obviously get to Z someday.
But A begets B Begets C isn’t slippery slope. It is simply a logical progression. “A” begets “Z” is the actual slippery slope in its fallacial form.
The problem with slippery slope as a fallacy used in an argument is that it presumes that there is no middle point stopping ground.
But dumb people see ANY logical progression argument as being slippery slope fallacy.
Slippery slope being called out as a fallacy when it presumes huge jumps is a good way of bringing to light one persons inaccuracies of argument. However using slippery slope or any other argumentative fallacy (such as strawmanning or circular reasoning) in the wrong situations (especially slippery slope) is even more detrimental than the fallacy that the original term is trying to call into question:

What happens is that when a women abuses a man in the forms mentioned above, he usually takes it silently, but when a woman abuses another woman, she tends to report it to the police. There’s a lower threshold of what women consider as “too much”. So % wise most cases of reported violence are from lesbian relationships. This will also lead to more divorces now that they are legally married.
What all of this means is that lesbians have essentially fought for the right to give lawyers a lot of their hard earned money.
