It doesn’t kill every monster, it was important because it was the only thing that could kill the yellow-eyed demon that they were after.

Also, I didn’t understand why the yellow-eyed demon decided to keep the body of some dude instead of the one of a friggin’ reaper. Hmm… immortality and the power to control death? Or a deep voice? Which to keep? :bluu:
Reapers have their own non-existant bodies, Demons from hell usually have to possess someone for direct actions.
Man tonight’s episode was thing I have seen on TV, that little girl was creepy. And negro called that shit on the blonde but it was a funny encounter once the racist card was brought up.
Except the yellow-eyed demon did possess a reaper already. But oh well.
I should’ve been watching regularly from the start(I’ve only seen 2 or 3 episodes before now)…last night’s episode was quality horror. Those “changeling” kids were quite disturbing anytime there was a scene involving one…it was like on the same level with scenes from The Shining, and the Tales from the Darkside intro.
That dark-haired piece of ass from dude’s past was a perfect 10. I wish she would stay on the show as a regular. Gorgeous, that one.

I never understood how the Colt didn’t kill Yellow Eyes or their dad the first time they shot him (whatwas it, end of first season?). I mean, if it was supposed to kill ANYTHING, how come the Eellow Eyes survived that??
Last night was an excellent episode. Now that Dean was taht countdown on him, his character is SO much more fun to watch. He seems to be more worried about getting laid than hunting now, lol. I’m surprised they were as graphicwith the guy that fell on the saw, though…
I think cause it was a non-fatal shot. Wasn’t he hit in the leg or something?
Also, I agree with the saw scene, I said the same thing when I saw it.
That was the first time they ever shot the demon, The colt was one ever used once on him.
Other times it was used to save Sam.

Last night show was pretty good. Glad they clarified on that demon helping sam instead of milking out her mysteriousness.

The saw scene didn’t really phase me…I think I’ve seen more on previous seasons.
When the little girl came back from being drowned by her mom…now that freaked me out.
All the little kids that were replaced by the changelings were pretty fucking freaky, can you imagine having your kid talk to you like that, I dare say I would have to find some stairs.
Oh yeah at the start of the 2nd season. I was never sure if that was him or he just called in some favor or something.
Eh, the only things that appear to be able to kill a demon hiding in a human are excorism, the colt and the demon blade, so being in a reaper’s form doesn’t really give him that much of a vantage.
Well, against Winchester, I’ll give you that. I’m pretty sure he got it in the leg. However, the demon is a shapeless being. In theory, shooting him in the, well, anywhere, should be enough to kill him.

It was him because the reaper’s eyes turned yellow after she got possessed.
But, see, there is a clear advantage in having a reaper body. For one, when Yellow Eyes had the reaper body, he was able to take and give life (he took John’s and gave it to Dean), like any other reaper. Also, and this is the critical one, because the reaper has no tangible body, it cannot be shot by the colt.
