You should just need the 5v plug. If it came with the small plug cable it needs then all you need to do is crimp some fork connectors onto each wire end. One will go into the 5v screw on your power supply and the other (usually the black wire) will go into one of the ground screws.
Well, I hooked up just the video connections and the power, the card and power supply and A board are all alive, but I get nothing but a black signal from the television, on NTSC like it should be, all signals wired up going to the correct places… I’m at a loss.

I always hate when people never follow up, so I’m following up! The problem was the amount of power. Even though you’ll get 5v sent, the power the board uses is actually far less. I cranked the power supply until the CPS2 logo popped up. The fan will run but the board will NOT boot unless it has enough power. Easy fix.
Yes CPS2 requires a little more power then other boards but be very careful putting other boards as it may fry the PCB.
