You all need to start using Supercade instead.
GGPO is way too unreliable atm.
GGPO has definitely shit the bed as of late but GGPO’s lobby and conversation are much better IMHO.
supercades offensive language blocking can be ridiculous at times blocking things that dont make sense. plus private conversations are alot of work as i cant remember to keep clicking the name of the user i am talking to…
supercade certainly has alot more users though now that ggpo isnt working half the time.
Let me get this straight. GGPO’s lobby is much better because it doesn’t have private chat and you can curse and spam? Beauty’s in the eye of the beerholder I guess. If language filter makes a mistake, try letting me know about it so I can fix it. I put the filter in because 2DF’s chat was and GGPO’s is a nonsensical shithole. Supercade has no spam, options to chat globally, privately, game only, and country only, plus color coding for easier reading. If I remove the filter, I have to add chat mods or it’s ni**er this, rape that, which is something I’d rather not do. I’m not a fan of human intervention in software.

btw, why you don’t allow people to continue to chat in the lobby while they are in game? what’s the reason behind it?
i think that’s kinda too restrictive. sometime i want to ask a friend if he’ll stay around for some games after i’m done with the current set.
for some reasons i still get uneven frame rate / background static noise when i’m playing on supercade…
you can ignore a person clicking on the icon next to the challenge icon.
GGPO’s lobby is way more active regardless. i guess you have to take the good with the bad. supercade obviously offers the best and most reliable gameplay experience. but if i want to BS about the game, see whats up with friends, and especially watch and or participate in a good argument with lots of swearing…i prefer ggpo.

Regarding Supercade, do a lot of good Japanese players play on there? One thing I missed about GGPO was the level of competition from the Japanese players that I didn’t really get by playing HDR on XBL.
