Did the schedule change? I thought Pools and Semi-Finals started at 8pm on Saturday, and then the finals started on Sunday at 12:30pm.

question, are we stuck using the same character through the whole tourney japan-style or can we switch? would be a major disadvantage for me since im not a one-character wonder.

Team tournament registrations will start at 2pm today, tournament will start at 4pm.
It will be SBO-style elimination rules, HOWEVER, you WILL be able to switch your characters during the tournament between rounds of competition. However you may NOT switch your character during any match.
Elaboration:
I pick Vega and beat the first member of the opposing team. I CANNOT switch characters when the next member gets up.
However, when you are facing the next team, I am NOT required to pick Vega like I did previously. I can switch characters.
I think this better suits the USA style of ST play, as there are lots of players who are not “one character wonders” like most players seem to be in Japan.
It will be $5 entry per person, so that’s $15 per team total.
Brackets will be double elim and COMPLETELY RANDOM. There will be no seeding as the team aspect completely eliminates this process. Therefore no preferential treatment will be given.
I will be at the ballroom around 9-9:30am this morning to reserve enough TVs for this event to go down, and for legitimate ST casuals to happen. Yesterday only having 1 TV for ST was unacceptable. We deserve at the very least 3.
