Hey guys. We’ll be having another meetup this Friday night at Super Arcade around 7:30pm til closing. I’ll be bringing a buddy of mine, Sergjiev, who will be bringing along some stream equipment for a test run. If all goes well, we can start having more consistent tournaments at Super Arcade. Hope to see you guys there.
Update: Friday night’s session is still going on. Just got word that DGV will be joining us and he’ll be bringing his supergun. This means we now have a total of 2 supergun stations. So now we can play more casual games even while the tourney is going on.

Big thanks to everyone who showed up to last night’s ST tourney at Super ARcade. Thanks to Sergjiev for bringing equipment to help record the matches with added commentary. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the stream to work, but we’ll do our best to work out the kinks. Also thanks to Watson for pitching in and buying pizza for all participants. Matches were recorded and should be made available on youtube asap. Here are the results:
3.15.2013 Friday Night Freeplay ST Tournament (14 entrants):
We’ll be running another tourney next Friday at Super Arcade. No stream on that day, but I’ll bust out my trusty, shaky hand-cam footage.
P.S. For a guy who doesn’t like the sticks, Watson’s sure doing pretty damn good at these tournaments. And yeah, I’m done with DP characters. I can fuck up a DP motion half the time, but there’s no way I can mess up a slide or a back+jab.
We held another tournament last night at Super Arcade. It was a pretty packed night since there were FOUR tournaments going on at the arcade, and the place didn’t end up closing til 4am. Big thanks to newcomers Ace and KaneBluerivers for participating in the tourney, and it was great seeing SuperFX play ST again. Here are the results:
GGs to moocus, Cossack, Watson, Ryan, and Millertime tonight. I got a lot of good practice against Honda, Chun, and Hawk, and I realize how much matchup experience I’m lacking.
