I have a couple of Versus City 1p panels that can fit Sanwa parts. They will fit an Astro City cab. One of them is a bit rusty but totally functional. some madness has gone down over the past couple days and im trying my best to keep this place up and running. its stable as for now but i dont have much as far as cabs go… what kind of “arcade” doesnt have cabs right? anyways, long story short i got the carpet pulled from under me and i need some help. if you guys can do something for me, im running a donation/raffle with actual winners unlike these scumbags who ruined the raffle scene.

hey guys, thanks for spreading the word and hopefully this donation drive keeps its momentum. it made front page SRK :P, good to have friends in the community! but yeah, thanks again to all of you who donated and to those who just come to support and play. its a really great feeling to have this support after i basically had my heart ripped out.
mikeidge: sorry you came on the worst day and we didnt have much here for you to admire at super! we will be back and stronger than ever though, i can promise that. as far as parts and stuff are concerned we can always use buttons and sticks, but your main priority it to just come visit us and have a good time.

Thanks for everything thus far, Mike! It really sucks that things went downhill so suddenly, but I think everyone here is optimistic about things picking back up. Sorry that we haven’t been supporting Super Arcade as hardcore as last year; I feel like we could’ve put more effort into bringing players in regularly. Nevertheless, we all appreciate the efforts you and Mando made to support the SoCal ST community.

all is ask is this guys. please show up to play, please show up to support, and please just come and have fun in a real arcade environment and stop resorting to playing SF on some stupid laggy online version when you are fortunate to have a place where competition thrives. i guarantee people all around envy the fact super arcade is still alive and they wish they had an arcade to go to. if you are local it doesnt take much effort to come out and play. we have people that take the initiative to keep games alive, all you have to do is put forth minimal effort to come enjoy them. ST4life!!!

Let’s have another ST meet-up at Super Arcade this Friday! I’ll be there at 6pm along with Millertime and Muffin Man, and I’ll be bringing Don’s ST supergun setup with Madcatz sticks available for use.
There’s a $5 venue fee, and both the superguns and Astro H2H cabs will be set to freeplay. If we can get enough people together, maybe we can even have a tournament or team battle.

Damn, if I didn’t live 3 and a half hours away I’d be there for every gathering. What I wouldn’t give to have an ST scene like at Super Arcade around here. Whenever I’m in the area I’ll make an effort to stop by and lend my support.
