AE i went 2-2 playing 2 day E.Ryu exclusively. hes got a lil more potential i feel but the overall character not as hot. Ill still fuck with the character every now and again though.

tbh dude they didnt give a fuck about anything that wasnt AE, MvC3, MK9. the BB setups were even worse than the arcana setups. they had to change the horrible tvs mid tournament, and one of the ps3s had a broken usb port… as far as who placed not sure but give them a day or two im sure theyll post the minority games.
Sounds like a Jebailey tournament to me! At EXPCon he told me straight to my face that BB is the worst fucking game. . . as I was handing him my money to register for the BB tournament!

Thoughts after watching that team match:
-I am NOT amazed by Tokido’s mvc3 play.
-I am amazed that DP’s 5A mash is an anti-air.
-If Ron would’ve snapped in Phoenix he could’ve OCVed that team.
-I would venture to say that Ron is the best in town at MvC 3 atm.
-You all (b/c I honestly think I’m the only one that does this) need to buffer exchange breaks during air combos. They build insane amounts of meter, and vs any Phoenix team, that’s going to be a paramount strat.
-We all need to learn to fight DP.
If they were like that for BB, I’m glad i didn’t go. If my game isn’t MK or made by capcom I can go fuck myself huh. Yea ok.

not only does she have the active hit box on her arm but the feathers that come out(dp mode) im pretty sure are counted as projectiles. in DP mode they also leave her at +1 on block.

few good things from the venue.
every other game including arcana were all on evo asus monitors.
the venue room was HUGE. like just as wide as FR but push the back wall as you walk in back 2x fold.
The A/C was cold and crisp walking to the venue and in the venue all 3 days smelled like crispy freshness and less like someones sweaty asshole

MK seems like it would be a fun ass game to play. watching… not so much. It wasnt THAT boring though. i liked the stuff the reptile(chris g/) was doing. Tom Brady had some good subzero stuff except in the Grand Finals when he mind fucked himself and started doing terrible.
