GGs to everyone at the Tourney today. It took 2 full games and all 6 of my characters, but I finally managed to kill Logan’s Magento*** DEAD***. Really GGs in MK, I’m so ready to learn more characters and actually get good at a fighting game for once…

GG’s in ST man, I was the guy playing Ryu/Fei (AKA the only other person on the ST setup). If we run a tourney I’ll probably set up my laptop with arcade ST instead of ghetto HD Remix.

Right now we’re thinking about having bar fights somewhere… possibly monday nights. We’re trying to figure out things like venues and such. We’re not blessed with the presence of a gamescape here!
I remember years ago we played at some music store on campus at UF. It was a nice setup.
actually, im gonna be lookin around for a different venue, gamesape is saying that they and the mall don’t want outside people running the tournaments anymore…
Eh, not a big loss for them…doesn’t make sense for the mall, though. They should want any reason for people to go to that barren place.

The mall is most likely not opposed to it at all. Gamescape doesn’t want fighting game tournaments held there for a few obvious reasons:
-We spend a good amount of time there, taking up both space and systems, for much less than their actual hourly rate.
-We bring in outside drinks and mess with the equipment.
-Loud hype (disruptive to the CCG and tabletop players).
-Geoff is a massive jackass. (No offense to Geoff, that’s his M.O. anyhow.)
Anyone in town play Soulcalibur 4? Been playing that online with some good/smooth games with a friend in MI so I guess their netcode is good. Wanted to see if anyone wanted offline games when I get back in town.
