yeah ken too but clear and away if were calling 3s top tiers chun in on top and brain dead easy. Now osagat was easy but the game in general is not. With cvs2 its was more a problem with the system mechanics than the characters themselves. mainly the grooves a and k were broken. Thats my point its not new but before this new gen of games it wasnt all too common either. When u did find easy effective characters it was in comparison to an already hard game in general. Like in mvc2 cable is an easy top tier but the game itself is so hard that cable only looks easy in comparison to what other characters had to do. U still had to do multiple tiger knees in combo’s and press strings to use him. Which for marvel was easy but compared to sf4 for instance is much harder than nearly anything u would have to do in that game.
Now a days the brokeness is ready made most of the time in a button. if any of u get a chance check out the replay of shadowloo mike ross taking out two of japans best is some nice matches.

O. Sagat was good as fuck, but it’s not like you could just hit buttons and win with him in ST. He could still get tossed like everyone else, he just had a supremely good zoning game that worked on the whole cast.

yeah he did beat gamerbee and lost to tokido at evo last year in a close match. But he was the last american standing i think most people arent use to fighting an aggressive honda. But there is a difference to winning with a powerful honda in super against tame characters than there is against winning with a very weak honda in ae against a sea of brokenly powerful ass characters in the hands of the best players in the world.
more surprising was poongko winning the whole damn thing with seth in dominating fashion. How’d he win it by giving in to logic just saying fuck it and poking with dp’s. Why because in todays game blocking random srk’s is a high lvl tactic lol. i mean he threw no less than 6 srk in every round reguardless of his position on the screen good stuff i guess.
@Adam: Crusader’s Crossbow dropped for me last night. Holy shit, why is this weapon so good? Imagine if Huntsman allowed you to shoot teammates for a big heal burst and still get decent damage on an enemy? If I see a crowd of shit going down (especially if a Pyro is involved) I can save my ass by dropping back and firing right into the crowd. It’s a win-win no matter who it hits.
