Just out of curiousity how was the decision made that some current SF4 players can use their characters and others can’t? Many have had access to 4 strictly through console so we’re all technically on even ground. In this case why would Buddah be allowed to use Seth and I can’t use Honda?

Dave; Seth is console exclusive. That is the only criteria that was used.
What I don’t understand is why ALL console chars are allowed. If the entire point of this tournament is to showcase SSFIV, then why not only include the new chars? Having a tournament where people are just going to get beatdown by danny/kymah/rey is just dumb.
That being said, if you don’t like the tournament, don’t join it, just join teams.
Seth is free. But not too any console characters.
