I’m at university in central IL, live in N/W Chicago suburbs during the summers. I’m new to the forums and pretty new to SSFIVAE. I’m pretty bad, but trying to learn.
I live in the dorms, so there’s a chance you’ll play one of my roommates on my account, though. Shouldn’t be a big deal. I would like to try to play every day, though, and find a group of players to play with regularly, get better and have a good time. I have a headset.

Looking for european (I’m from the netherlands) players to practise with and get better. Currently my PP is around 700 or something. So I’m not really that good yet.
Up till now the online mode has been pretty pointless for me. If I do quick matches in ranked mode I mostly get opponents that have >2500pp and kick my ass. Which gets really boring after a few matches.
And endless match is really pointless to because most matches consist of 4 / 5 players and I don’t want to wait 4 or 5 matches just to loose one again.
I do have a mic and stuff if people want to chat and play or give me pointers on how to play better.
I’m currently trying to main Oni. But I’m not really good with him yet.

My “mains” are Ibuki and Gen, but I have been away from the competition for a long time so I can feel the rust. I also play Akuma and Sakura at a decent level. I would say I am between average and above average.
I don’t have a mic at the moment but I am willing to chat on these forums about our games. Long time player/ fan here so I do know the mechanics and fundamentas. usualy on between 7 p and 10 p weekdays. im in florida.
This is actually something you should look forward to. Watching other people play can be just as rewarding as playing. Even more so at times because you get to sit back and watch and actually THINK about what and why the other players are doing. You get to see mind games and patterns develop which are easier to recognize if you aren’t in the game.
Looking for quality sets, I’m open to fight any character, but am more intereted in my lesser seen matchups:
