Looks like he pasted a game screen over the super finish background and erased out the sky. Pretty cool.
I doubt thats all he did, as why would he have to use the t-hawk killing boxer for the foreground? I’m guessing crazy nki glitches.
Tested out the dizzy with blanka’s c.hk, opponent falls, super, opponent wakes up and super hits behind combo, then…
c.mk > cmk > upball or normal ball and that does star dizzy 100% iirc, and
towards + mp usually gives angels
and it seems that you get angels and grim reapers mostly when your dizzy them without comboing them, also normals give you better chance of getting them than specials
most of the time when you dizzy you get stars, and the grim reapers come the least, so it seems to go in order of how much dizzy is how rare they are, the more dizzy it gives the less it comes out.
and maj about the deejay setup to dizzy them, if i start the combo with a jumpin or a fireball it will dizzy them after the super, i cant figure out any way to dizzy with the upkicks =[
NKI: Do you have those SBO vids with Daigo? I think you said you were unsure if you had them or not.
Majestros: Did you check to see if FFA has an ST/AE machine in yet?
Footsy Bebop: I checked and FFA has neither. There was an AE machine at FFA when the game first came out and that’s where Jeff played against Daigo. But they took that out a long long time ago. There was an ST machine before that, but that’s not back either.
I reckon it’s the very first frame of the super finish effect… actually that can’t be right. The very last frame?
I figured it was a teaser for some glitch we’re gonna see at Evo. I can’t wait for that shit.
Just going by the juggle system’s rules, yes, it’s possible to juggle with two Chicken Wings, as long as each one only hits once. I don’t know if it’s possible to set that up, though…
Any character can do it, but I just like T.Hawk’s super.
Why would I do that…?…
You two are correct!
Right. Both the first frame and last frame of the super flash cause very strange graphical glitches. For my avatar, I used the last frame. The effects vary greatly depending on the stage.
Because it’s only one frame, it’s pretty much undetectable by the human eye. You have to watch it frame-by-frame.
Check out Volume V:

Against ducking Chun Li:
cross-up j.Forward, backwards st.Forward, cr.Jab->cr.Jab, st.Strong xx super, upkicks.
The second hit of the upkicks dizzies.
D’OH! Sorry, forgot about that. I uploaded a different tournament (the GMC vids that were posted a while back in the thread), but I forgot to do SBO. I have put it on my to-do list so I won’t forget again. And yes, I really do have a to-do list.
yeah the problem is i need to use 2 upkicks, both 1 hit each, also even if i do figure out how to do chicken wing x 2 with 1 hit each, i think im going to run into same problem i had with deejay and they wont dizzy
Is it common knowledge that you can store Chun Li’s(and I assume Honda’s) super before you even reach full meter? I discovered this in AE and was wondering if it might just be an AE only thing or if I’ve just been missing out on this little detail.
wah? i dunno, but good trick, ill try it out!
Edited: I didn’t say nothing.
shhh dont let the japanese know!
covers mouth with tape
Best of luck at Evo, by the way.
Maybe whiff lk upkicks for meter to bait something? Or maybe lightning legs. Not something you could do often though.
No the real reason i said this was imagine if i was doing low forwards or standing strongs on an opponent over and over when i was close to full meter. and he tried to push me back with a ground move and i had just got my meter charged then busted it out on him. it would REALLY throw him off and prolly work most of the time.
weird. i dont know anything about this game but i still knew that
EDIT: its not AE only
Ah, okay. Doesn’t surprise me that this was well known by at least somebody. I just stumbled upon it and had never read anything about it.
Yeah, earlier in this thread somewhere (I think?) somebody mentioned that this has been used in combo videos (I think they’re Japanese) for quite some time. Not to pretend like I would’ve known about it, just pointing it out.
Yeah, unfortunately it’s hella old. =p i heart ST
