Let me make something very clear: The majority of my posts in this thread are on topic, many are marked “Insightful” and generate good activity. I have written at length about topics like what goes into balancing the next iteration of a fighting game, supporting Max’s initiatives to get Nintendo to play nice with fighting game tournaments, what sort of impact certain design choices may have, and provided background information on stages shown (for example, pointing out the “Mode 7” behavior in how one background displayed is indicative of SNES-era Pilotwings). These are all meaningful, good contributions to the thread that have helped keep useful discussion going. That I make an occasional joke does not turn this thread into some cesspool that requires you to bring this to a moderator’s attention, nor me into some out of control ‘troll’ who needs to be slapped down. Stop it. If you have a problem with me being silly, fine. Discuss your concerns with me, or put me on block/ignore if my cracking the occasional joke once every so often is that traumatizing to you.
